goddam it....I read the instructions in the track file and put it in 15....does that matter, cause I can change it tomorrow....its only todays lap I sent in from that slot.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Don't know about the first one. But you can't turn off the "help" in pit-lane. Unfortunately.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys. BTW, What sort of release date are we looking at for this?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Im on my way! With a bit of luck, Ill actually save the laps right this time.....by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
I think thats basically what it does, but it takes away the "animated" look of GP4 to a degree. It does make it look better.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
I said this in another thread but, wow. You lot never cease to amaze me. I think that GP4 would be quite ordinary of all we could play was the 'out-of-the-box' version. @Lo2k - will this be able to be used in GP3 as well?.....or does that handle gridlines differently to GP4?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Wow, thats a really nice picture. It does make GP4 look less animated doesn't it?. Top stuff.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
that depends on how much you paid for it.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
hmm.....ok, a friend of mine tried this and it seemed to work OK. Go to the downloads section and get the decrypted exe for the PATCHED VERSION (1.13) and copy it into your GP3 Directory. I basically tricks your game into thinking that you've patched the game.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Is your copy of GP3 legit? The patch won't work for some reason if you have a downloaded copy. The track files aren't that big, maybe 2Mb at the biggest. My personal fave at the moment is Surfers Paradise. The tracks from the Smoking Pen are either fictional, or from the CART championship. I think he's installed a CART carshape into his game to make the CART mods more realistiby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3

*usual bollocks* In all seriousness though, I've never heard of that plugin. Try doing a search for PSP plugins through Google.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
ohhh, I understand now. Yes tops idea. @ricardo - To do that could you just extend the top gridline and add the yellow? Should be possible I think.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
ahh Ok, cheers Erwin. But still....by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
firstly, all of the tracks you download will have readme.txt or gp3form.txt in them which tell you how to install the tracks. If you can't open the zip files, go and grab a copy of WinZip from www.winzip.com. As for your editors, you have to point them to where your gp3.exe is. For most of the editors, you will need a decrypted exe, which can be found in the downloads section of this siteby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
try tweaking the suspension slightly, or take a notch of your front wing.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
erm....try a search? There's a tutorial there somewhere, although it made no sense to me.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Argh!! I have recently discovered I suffer from an illness whereby I don't pay attention to what menu screen I'm on when I hit save.....so, I've now lost all my efforts from the other day. Oh well, I have some spare time now, maybe I should be hotlapping rather than sitting in the fora?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
In the top pic, why are the cars going the wrong way down the Sepang pit lane?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
@Bacheiga. jau - Do you have all the tracks from the 2000 season? and can you tell me where you got them from?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
It's a nice site. I do like the layout. But can you please make the text a wee bit bigger. I find it just a tad hard to read without having to zoom in on it.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Cheers Fella's.......now I hav all the carsets and most of the tracks for the last 3 seasons. Which complements me not missing a race on the box for that time. All I'm need now is Magny-Cours, Monaco, Montreal, Sepang and Hockenheim updates for this year.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Looks like it. Had the same thing happen to me when I updated Imola a while back. Started the race 50 feet above the track, lights went out and the whole grid fell back to earth. Did lead to a nice replay though, too bad I didn't save any images of it.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
You made the images in Photoshop didn't you? If so, do you think you could release a template of the image, so that making custom maps is a bit easier?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Thats the BernieVision version of the same map. I think Dinga is after the normal World Feed ones. Unfortunately, the F1 coverage is so poor in Australia, we don't get to see all that stuff before the race, so I'm really hanging out for this mod. @Dinga - Do you think it would be hard to modify the images and ini file to fit custom circuits in GP3?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Hmmmm.......Also in the genjams folder there is one called templite.jam Does anyone know what that does?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
woo! Just submitted my first lap. Well off the pace at a 1:27.7 but still, its there. Oh and Marcow, you might want to change the calendar, last time I checked Surfers Paradise was in Australia rather than the USA, try as they might to get it.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Good point Marcow. I mean, after I've finished my qualifying run I just hit SHIFT + F4 and skip straight back to the pit box. As for the warm-up lap, I sometimes wish it was there. I too have an old EA game with a warm-up lap but you couldnt control the car, so it was kinda pointless. If you could drive it and actually get temperature into the tyres and brakes before the start of the racby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
ha! I couldn't build paper aeroplane. Im just curious, thats all.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
