I've been trying to play but have just given up now, for the 10th time I've got stuck on the stupid "forever load" screen and frankly just can't be arsed any more... Hopefully when Saints Row 2 is released in January that'll be a better port and give more enjoyment, the PC version of that was supposed to come out at the same time as the 360\PS3 version but got delayeby Ianwoollam - Other Games

I dunno tbh, I mean F1 is a moneypit, but BTCC's budget for a team is far far smaller... Hell not next year, but 2010 may see Honda popping back into the BTCC Championship properlyby Ianwoollam - Other Motorsports
Finally after shoehorning a Quad Core in and alot of Graphic tweaks, got GTA4 running at a playable state... I just can't understand how they've managed to make such a bad port, hope morbid's right and they fix it pronto To be honest if you ask me it hasn't been optimized properly, Dave mentioned Far Cry 2 for instance, to install that it takes up 6 Gig, and thats a BIG map wby Ianwoollam - Other Games

Yeah I remember San Andreas been bad, but the performance issues were no where near this bad! In fact San Andreas did pretty well performance wise, just everything else was broken Well technically you don't need to sign upto a Windows Live accouby Ianwoollam - Other Games

Ahhh right I see, some people over at the GTA forums have been saying that they can't even get High to work on the 280, which I thought was strange! :\ I'm a bit confused why your FPS is slower than mine however, granted I am running at 1650x1080 but apparantly with GTA4 Res dosn't make much of a difference, and your rig is far superior to mine! The only difference I can see whichby Ianwoollam - Other Games
Well you can force it into using High, through editing the INI files apparantly, but its not recommended. if you reduce the View Distance and maybe the Resolution then High should be unlocked (Its because GTA4 won't let you go over a certain amount of Video Card Memory, it gives you how much its used at the bottom of the screen) I can get high if I reduce the res to 800x600 because I'veby Ianwoollam - Other Games
Well this hasn't exacly started well... Firstly I had to install and activate for 45 bloody minutes, it takes up 13GB of space and has to be installed off two DVD's, installs Rockstar Social Club (which it won't let you play without) Have to install Windows Live Gaming thingy just to save games and now after its finished with all that crap I ain't got time to play as my dinnerby Ianwoollam - Other Games

Looks like the Focus ST will be on the grid next year, however its through Arena International as an Independent entry, hope they have plenty of spares since they've hired Chilton But hey, extra teams! So next year there should be at least 4 different makes of car battling at the front (Honda, Seat, Vauxhall and Ford) just a pity only 1 of them is a works manufacturer.by Ianwoollam - Other Motorsports

I quite like Kravitz actually, Reading his column on ITV-F1 was quite refreshing as he was one of the people there who wasn't seriously biased But overall I'm not really fussed who is commentating (as long as it ain't Allen) as long as the FIA get off their fat asses and finally drag F1 into the world of HD. Simple method to find out, entrapment! Set up a web camera recording, and put your own package in the green bin, see if it magically disappears Also talking about Citylink, I remember not long ago Citylink decided to leave a 26" LCD TV on my doorstep... didn't even bother trying to hide it!!by Ianwoollam - Off-Topic
