Well the extra-long wing repair stops were not originally in GP 3, they come with GPxPatch if I'm not mistaken.

Grand Prix 3 Okay then, as Rob said early on in this thread, the track's MD has not been tested. So I'll just report what I experienced, having run a 100% race (or better having halfway run one, want to drive the second part after watching F1 tonight). I used a pretty conservative setup, high grip, less topspeed than the CC cars.
In the first few laps, I was just around where I should be conside

Grand Prix 3 Great, thanks a lot - but may I report a little detail missing? There is no Egyptian flag... I played a race on your awesome Cairo International track and wanted to enter the results into the Race Manager when I noticed.
Don't want to seem picky, but when you upgrade the prog with something more important next time you might want to add it.

Diskussionen in Deutsch Just feel I have to mention Ralf got another two points last weekend - of course greatly helped by Kristensen's crash plus the Green/Ekström penalties, but it has to be said he was, together with Paffett, one of the faster 07 Merc drivers and the only one keeping out of trouble. However, with Rockenfeller and Premat driving their 07 Audis to fifth and sixth, maybe that kind of puts Ralf back

Other Motorsports Yeah iirc the new 1997 Yamaha engine was predicted to be a serious challenger, what together with Bridgestones performance especially under hot conditions (see the aforementioned Hungary / Jerez races) seemed like a good combination. Just that it didn't turn out that way, as Bridgestone was the only of the three factors Chassis/Engine/Tyre performing even nearly as good as expected. The Yama

F1 I had an especially tough time today - what a great race, but our bloody idiots on RTL spoiled it really. Maybe I should really start watching F1 races with sound on "mute", but then there's just some info you don't get unless they tell you (like sector times and weather forecasts and so on).

F1 Me being a student, I can't afford to buy Premiere (German Pay-Per-View channel which broadcasts F1), so I have to watch on RTL, which is free... but God almighty, those commentators have to be the worst in the world!
Christian Danner, himself a former F1-driver (late 80s, Zakspeed and Arrows I believe), at least has some knowledge on the technical/strategical/physical side of it, but he

F1 CC grip should be 8200? Okay then that explains it, I must be using wrong MD files then. Here it reads CC grip 10000. I do not use original settings, but only slightly more: 800 BHP, 16400 best CC grip. But thanks for your help, I'll try with 8200 now!

Grand Prix 3 Anyone made a new CC-line actually? I have tried, but not managed. I have worked on a decent setup for two days, fiddled with MD, anything you can think of because I'm just three races from the end of my IRL 2008 season against them CCs and do want to have Belle Isle in, but I can't go faster than 1:17,5, with them doing high 1:13s...

Grand Prix 3 There is a 1991 carshape somewhere in the old download section, but since that doesn't work for you, PM me with your mail-address and I'll send it to you.
To all others: As I do not think that Old Download section isn't working for everybody, I don't want half a dozen other people asking me to send it to them!

Other Motorsports Well as I am watching DTM quite regularly, maybe I can tell you a little more about the car situation. Each of the two manufacturers, Merc and Audi, runs four 2008 cars, which usually means the top 8 places and with it, the points, go to the eight 2008 cars. Then there are 5 2007 Merc and 4 2007 Audis, all of which score very rarely or not at all. Paffett, Jarvis and Winkelhock have put in some g

F1 I so enjoyed reading those reports this morning... what did those Americans complain about the US GP 2005, and now their own most popular race series manages to do just about the same. I mean, yes, all cars made the start - but what good does a race do where you have to stop every 10 to 12 laps to get new tyres? Absolutely happy that happened - one of the best motorsports news in all of 2008.

F1 Okay, assuming we'll have dry qualy and race. Latest rain chances are at 40 something for qualy and 20 something for race, so might just work out (Would still prefer a wet race because that wold guarantee a better race).
