Grand Prix 4 Hi mates - wrong thread but I can't find the right thread.
Kimi, do you have any decent 2001 performance files that I can use with the original game and gpxpatch? Or do you know where I can find some? Aprreciate it man...

Grand Prix 4 I support Vettel and RB at the moment, but I always keep up with what Ferrari are doing. It's just because of the heritage.
F1 would be far worse off without them. They would lose a lot of money as well, as F1 sponsors know that at least 30% of F1 fans are Ferrari supporters. So they will suffer themselves.
It will be a form of suicide by the FIA to let Ferrari go.

F1 Well I am getting it more and more right at the moment - last night I just said to myself I will do 10 laps on each track - got to Montreal so now I had about 2 hours' driving with that, very good practise.
Thanks for the tips.

Grand Prix 4 And features I will like - but not expect - in the game:
1. Fuel: Litres instead of 'fuel laps'. I want it as real as possible, so let me figure out my own usage per lap and fill up accordingly.
2. Fuel: Let us be able to choose our fuel mixture according to what we need at the time of the race. This will add to the fun.
3. Strategy: Let us be able to select our next pitstop

Grand Prix 4 Where there's a will there is always a way. It might not be as easy but we will find ways. There are increasingly more and more great developers/artists/modders on this site and many like this site, keen for a challenge. So there is hope.
BUT: don't get your hopes up. Expect this first version not to come close to GP4. There are many reasons why I say that:
1. The same reason we e

Grand Prix 4 And shame man! With pedals like those cheap ones it would have probably been better to use keyboard :P
I just really wish I had more money though for a proper wheel!!! And maybe I must try to put stiffer springs in. That'll be a lot more like a car... Maybe I must look into that tonight... Toolkit here I come.

Grand Prix 4 Oh yeah sorry I forgot to mention what wheel I have...
I have a Flashfire V7.0 USB wheel, if that helps. Can't afford anything more expensive at the moment...
And thanks phantaman - I will look into that thread right away!
Geez you guys are quick...

Grand Prix 4 Hi there all.
While I know there have been a few posts regarding this, I believe no thread so far found by me has been efficient or to-the-point enough in regards to setting up/tweaking with steering wheels and pedals.
I am posting this because a dedicated thread on this is needed, and I am very new to steering wheels and pedal racing.
So my first question would be: has anyone found an e

Grand Prix 4 I wish I could but it's a private and restricted area, I won't actually be able to enter there as they are doing private tests with the local touring cars/whatever on a permanent basis.
I really wish I could though - then I would help you with the creation because it would be a good place for me to start with track creation. The last time I was actually there was 1998 for Wesbank Ser

Grand Prix 4 Zero Wolf - that remind me - I also got a wheel recently.
Was it also as difficult as hell just to keep the car on the road in the beginning? I have evolved to a level where at least I can do spanking laps 3 times in a row, but then I lose it again for 4 in a row. Is this normal?
Just to confirm - it doesn't feel anything LIKE driving a normal car, does it?
I am wondering if anyone

Grand Prix 4 Well well the good times are back indeed!!!
I have now done 2 FULL(All settings at 100% distance/time - don't see the point in anything less for me) seasons since re-installing GP4. I also use all the original stuff except GpxPatch and NOCD crack, and also I have removed all the black flags from all the tracks as they are nothing but a nuisance to me - think Monza and Hockenheim.

Grand Prix 4 As I am from South Africa I would LOVE this track!
If anyone wants to create the 2009 version you can always try to get a video of the 2009 South African A1GP. This would be very much appreciated by me and others like me... but of course only IF any of the brilliant track creators on this forum has time for this!

And I enjoyed my time on this community a lot!
Anyways, my question is regarding DirectX 9.0c. I know it's probably on the wrong thread but I don't want to start a new thread for a silly question like this.
