For both, or either one seperately. Trial and error. And if I were you I'd remove XP service pack 3 - I've had numerous crashes on various programs the single week I had it installed... In other words you might need a format as just uninstalling it doesn't completely remove it. But that's just what I would do. It's up to you.

Grand Prix 4 Hi
Thought I'd share this link with you guys if you don't know it yet:
It's Tilke's website with many pictures and so forth of his tracks, I bet someone may find usefulness out of this link.
I have no idea how to efficiently create a track myself but this is the best way to contribute for me.
While on this, I had an idea: is there anyone with enough patience on here

Grand Prix 4 As you were. Now the closest thing I'll come to watching a GP is wathing the computer cars drive on GP4 - atleast Schumi is still there, even though it's not really him.

F1 Yep it isn't - I watched all of his races from 1996 til he retired, as opposed to maybe watching 3 races since he retired. It's not interesting any more. No-one does it for fun any more, just money and fame.
Schumi, you could see his passion and commitment at every corner.

F1 Thank you JC... Which is the best way to adapt these setups for races? To just increase packers, or increase ride height, or increase both, or what??? These are the basic tips I need to create my own custom setups...

Grand Prix 4 Sheet I'm far off... I think it must be setups though as I'm still racing with the standard setups while only adjusting the gear ratios, wings and break balance... Are there any pointers to what of the advanced settings should change to what for specific tracks? Was just wondering... Cause I don't know exactly what is good or bad for specific tracks...

Grand Prix 4 Well mine crashes aswell but clearly not as frequently as yours.
Have you done these steps - in order - ?
1. Install GP4 official patch 1.02.
2. Get GP4.exe v1.02 nocd exe file and overwrite original GP4.exe file in c:\Program Files\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4 folder.
3. Install GPxPatch
4. On main GPxPatch tab, select 'Start GPxPatch in Debug mode'. Then set 'Verbosity'

Grand Prix 4 With you, Fincent. No Alonso, no Schumi. The best-case scenario now would be Vettel winning and Webber 2nd. For me anyway.

F1 Well then my interest in F1 is back to the earlier 2009 levels then - non-existent.
One swallow does make a summer then, don't it. No use for me watching these fumbling dingbats(stewards, Bernie, Max, Fota) making stupid decisions and mistakes every week.
Schumacher would have brought the x factor back for me, a driver who just wants to do his best, not like these prima donnas of today

Grand Prix 3 I have this exact same problem... any advice on how this was actually solved would be appreciated!
Also, everytime the game starts up, it asks for the fraphics to be calibrated... :/ why?
Update: Now it's gotten to the stage where, when I calibrate, GP3.exe generates an error with some random code and "memory could not be read".
Isn't there supposed to be a file like

Grand Prix 3 OK so the game is sorted... Thanks again guys!
Now I have another problem: my cockpit view angle isn't changeable, I know you must press - ingame, but it doesn't work...
And it's greyed out in the graphics menu as well, whether software 3d or graphics card is selected, makes no difference, also manual and automatic settings, doesn't matter...
Any advice please? I'

F1 Geez thanks alot guys all of your help was very good indeed
Ok seems I might be able to get GP3, which I have had previously so I know its funtionality etc. What I would like to know now is what are the benefits of GP3-2000, except a new season, i.e. what do you get that you don't in GP3?
And what do I need to make this upgrade? And is it a download or do I have to buy this too?

Grand Prix 3 Of course its new. He had to test first to confirm any neck problems, and now that he has tested,he says his neck pinches which may cause him to fail his medical. Do you get how this is new?

Schumacher might not make a return due to his neck. Let's hope this is just precautionary thinking...

F1 I have a feeling it's something to do with Red Bull going that route and them having to follow suit, sponsor's clauses or something.
Again I state that I don't mind them blocking it nor do I think it will make a difference. He's got the experience to overcome this obstacle.
by

F1 Apparently it's Williams, Red Bull and Toro Rosso doing the blocking. So if anybody might have bad taste it would be one of those 3.

F1 Oh. Don't have a clue about that track.
