aha, so now after hearing the team radio from McLaren, i can see why Lewis looked so pissed off after the race. i had always suspected his demeanour was due to Jenson's pass and thought it might have been because they told Lewis to slow down but didn't tell JB the same (nothing to do with Lewis just becoming a calmer individual as DC kept harping on about). so either JB didn't fby Muks_C - F1
i've not read most of this thread, so sorry if i'm repeating anyone else's post. i'd say it was 80% Vettel to blame, 20% Mark. Why Should Mark move over or give Vettel any more room than he did give him? Vettel chose to take the left side to go onto the dirty line (he initially jinked right then switched to the left). Mark's portion of the blame is only that he didnby Muks_C - F1

never watched a single episode. same with 24, Prison Break, House etc. I did watch the first episode of Heroes though, i thought that could be "the one" that i would really get into and follow all the way because it was about people with special/super powers, but i was bored to tears by the first episode so didn't bother with any more. it's there for the sake of it at Abu Dhabi, rather than to create any sort of atmosphere or "look" or cool experience for the drivers. was watching the classic F1 on the red button earlier and the race from the mid-80's at Brands Hatch looked awesome with F1 cars going up and down the hills and turns.by Muks_C - F1
yeah, they just give a quick overview of the circuit at the end of each episode (street track/permanent track, downforce level, hardest braking point on the circuit, G force under braking etc.).by Muks_C - F1
i saw some of the Turkey episode on MotorsTV last night, with Schumacher and Lauda chatting while driving in a Mercedes roadcar. i think there is a mistake in the Brembo Braking Facts section near the end of the programme. the narrator says the hardest braking spot is turn 7, but on the map turn 12 or 13 is highlighted.by Muks_C - F1

looks great! can't wait till i get mine. i'm thinking of going OTT and getting a 46"/47" depending what i can find, but am feeling a little reluctant because any standard definition images will just be stretched over a larger area, enhancing the flaws. but then again, HD content will look amazing on a larger panel. and you need to sit further away so as not to see the SD qby Muks_C - Off-Topic
firstly make sure you are aware that there are no proper LED TVs out at the moment (barring Sony's 11" OLED (organic) which costs a gazillion dollars); anything that says LED is only an LED-backlit LCD TV. are you sure you want LCD or would you consider plasma? i'm in the same boat, looking for a HDTV around 42" or 47" and have seen some good prices on the highstreeby Muks_C - Off-Topic
talking of Iron Man 2, i saw it last week and thought it was very slow and boring in places. also, the bit we see in the trailer where Pepper Potts kisses Iron Man's *ahem* helmet, and throws it off the building, and he jumps after it and says "you complete me" was cut from the movie. anyone know why? and what's the deal with the crappy looking cars at Monaco? i know theby Muks_C - Off-Topic

that seals the deal, i'm going for the 360! only joking. so the original PS3 played PS2 games, but the slim doesn't? why did they do this? surely backwards compatability is just a software or firmware issue, the fact that it's a smaller physical unit shoulnd't be a reason to remove this function. saying that, when i do get the new console, i would try to sell my PS2by Muks_C - Other Games
another (possibly interesting) fact about wet tyres, is that they don't "glue" them to the rim, as they do with dry tyres, allowing them to slip around the rim. don't know the exact reason for this, but remember Brundle telling us during a race a couple of years ago. might be because of the lack of grip/traction on wet surfaces, they allow the rim to spin but leave the tyre stby Muks_C - F1
hey all. i'm considering taking the leap into this generation of consoles, but don't know which to go for. i've played the 360 at a friend's a few times and it's alright, i don't like the controller too much though. and a few other friends have 360s so we could play online. however, i've gone down the Sony route thus far, with the PS1 and PS2, and like the faby Muks_C - Other Games

i know the Tories didn't win by the required majority, but how ridiculous would it be if the 2nd and 3rd placed parties (Labour and LD) formed a coalition, along with other smaller parties to reach the magic 326 seats to rule, leaving the Tories with nothing?by Muks_C - Off-Topic
