Thanks for the reply, I didn't think there was one out there, but was just curious. I found an RB5 without the shark fin if anyone else in the wider community ever asks the same question. It's a fictional rendering with logo's not in exactly the correct places, but its a fair representation of the car that was unveiled before pre-season testing. It can be found on gpgames.eu forby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi, Is there anyone who knows if there is a Red Bull RB5 car out there that does not have the shark fin? Like the car they unveiled during pre-testing photo shoot, before they switched to the shark fin engine cover. I looked on the downloads database but could only find the two different shark fin variants for that season. Thanks in advance.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
A truly heartfelt story that reminds us of how unnecessarily cruel life can be, but also of how our capacity to love and the spirit of human resilience can achieve remarkable feats. Your son has beaten this scourge before and I pray that he does so again. I'm trying to change the numbers on some of the cars. I open up the Tex files for a car in texresizer and change the file to a tga. I then open up the file in photoshop and it appears opaque. The numbers I insert however, do not. I then change the tga back to a Tex file using slimtex and open up the Tex file in texresizer and the image is still opaque yet the numbers I inserted are still bolby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4

Does anyone have a copy of the 1990 Tyrrell Grid Car gpi file and a copy of the 1991 Jordan engineer and pitcrew tex files? Or alternatively do they know where I could find them? Thanks.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Tom, When I try to download the game from GP4 Central I get what looks like a page of programming text. I tried installing the game using WinRAR instead, but got the following message: C:Users\Daniel\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet files\Content.IE5\R8BNREGD\Grand Prix 4v1.02 (patched) (inc. GPxPatch v4.44) 7z: The archive is corrupt. I reloaded WinRAR and turned oby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Rene. I ended up rebuilding the icons cache. Weirdly though, after doing that I had to reinstall the gpx patch to get it to work. But everything works fine now and I have the icon. Thanks again for your help.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
I recently had to reinstall gp4, and the version I have had gpx patch 4.2 installed with it. (Unfortunately for some reason I cannot download the version on GP4 Central). I deleted the 4.2 version, and installed version 4.44. It loaded fine, however, in the gp4 files, the gpx application no longer has the little x logo, and neither does the shortcut. I tried reinstalling it several times, and turby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4

Hi, Does anyone know where I can find a copy of a Brabham BT52 or the 1983 mod? I tried the mediafire link within the forum, but I just keep getting the message that the page cannot be displayed. Thanks.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
I'm trying to change some of the cars in a pre-existing mod, the 1991 mod to be specific. When I select any of the cars I've installed or the in-game camera is on them, they appear as intended. However, if they are not selected or the in-game camera is not on them they revert back to the original livery of the car before any changes were made. I looked in the FAQ section but could noby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Just wondering if anyone out there knows where I could find copies of a Lotus 101t, Benetton B190 and Ferrari 641 that I want to place in a mod I'm working on? Thanks.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Canadian76, Just curious as to where you got this 1990 mod? I've been looking for the 1990 season. I have one made by Supermonty but the helmets either float in mid air or are halfway down the driver's chest, and as a relative newbie I'm still exploring all the different programs and haven't got round to figuring out how to correct it yet.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Where did you guys get this mod? I have a copy of a 1990 mod (I think it's by supermonty but I'm not sure), however, with the version I have the helmets are in the wrong place and float in mid air, close to where the t-cams are. If you guys have a different version or one that has corrected this problem and are willing to post it here, I for one would be greatly appreciative.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Is there anyone out there who knows of a 1990 mod? I found this one: http://www.4shared.com/rar/VmwQoUTU/Grand_Prix_4_MOD_1990_HD.html however, when I run it, the heads are in the wrong place and seem to be floating near where the t-cam is. I'm not sure if it's a installation error on my part or an original error within the program, and as a newbie I'm not familiar enough witby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
A big THANKS to TomMK, Eric and gap177 for all their help with my CSM issue. I finally got the thing to work, to a fashion, after taking the pc back to factory spec. A bit drastic I know, but I didn't have too much stored on there to begin with. CSM still won't install the mods in the conventional way, but if I select install carset on CSM and then click open on the mod itself it runs.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Eric, I tried loading the 1988 and 1994 mods also from gp4 database, but I run into the same problem. I click on the file, the 'open with' box pops up, I select CSM and I'm directed back to the 'open with' box.by F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Tom & Eric. Eric - The mod I was trying to open is the 1991 mod from gp4 database. It's named 1991.cuh but WinRAR lists it as a CSM file. Hi Tom, Thanks for clearing up the mod folder thing for me. I know I must be frustrating, so I again just want to thank you for your help. Hi Eric, Well I thought I'd solved it the dreaded CSM problems after Tom's suggestion, but it's still not working. As he suggested I opened up CSM and only got the box with the "Select your GP4 executable" dialog and the 4 applications. I browsed to where GP4.exe is and selected the icon (the one with the little checkered flag). So far so good. I then got the messageby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Tom, Me again. Sorry to keep pestering you but the CSM is still not working. I opened up CSM and when "Select your GP4 executable" dialog came up I browsed to where GP4.exe was and selected it as you advised. The blue circle thing by the mouse cursor spun round a few times and then nothing happened. I tried again and got the message 'Detected gp4 exe is "GP4.exe" Doby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Hi Tom, Firstly, thanks for your help, I'm sure most modders and developers are tired of CSM questions, so I appreciate all your advice. When I click on the CSM icon in C:\Program Files\ZaZ Tools I get a bunch of icons. If I double click on the CSM icon a folder opens up that has the title "Select you GP4 executable" in the left hand corner. Within the box itself are 4 appliby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Eric & Gap177, thanks for your suggestions. (Eric, in answer to your question I did mean the no cd decrypted patch.) I've created a separate folder for ZAZ tools tried to run it and no luck, I still get the same message, I also tried putting it in program files and program files x86 and got the same result. Any ideas? Gap177 - Just in case I can't resolve the issue, is thereby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Tom, I tried your suggestions and I've spent the last two days going through many of the posted topics on zaz tools to try and find a solution but to no avail. I'm sure I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't figure out what. Here are the steps I follow: 1. Install game in c: and create a separate folder for it, not in program files, I read putting it thereby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
I know this has probably been discussed on the forum a thousand times before, but I am struggling to find an answer. I recently downloaded GP4, and I have installed all the relevant downloads, no cd, gpx patch, 9.6 etc., etc., but I cant seem to get ZAZ tools working correctly. I download the program into the same directory I have GP4 in and after the installation is complete, when the prby F1Classicfan - Grand Prix 4
