Thanks, it works now, and the hi res pitcrews are great!by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I realized that the original anim.wad is 2 KB bigger than my anim.wad, but I have checked both and they have exactly the same files in it, so you are my last hope.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I only used Wad Updater 3.4, I extracted the anim.wad and renamed the pitcrews. Then I created a new anim.wad and put it into the game. Now I put the original anim.wad back into the game and everything works like it should.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Now I've changed the order of the pit crews and it worked. But now GP4 crashes when loading trainings and qualifyings on every track. But races are still possible, anyone an idea? Yes! We all want to drive on the unbelievable exciting track of Nürburgring-Südschleife!by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I come across with a strange problem when I installed a downloaded helmets set. It works fine but three cars still have the original helmets, which are the two BARs and the second Minardi. I first thought the tex-files were faulty or missing, but after I tried out several other helmets for that three cars I realized that the helmets of that three cars can't be changed. Then I suddenlby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Ok, that are the gp4-files, I nearly forgot them.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I have a question again: Is it possible to change the order of the pit crews in GP4? And when yes, which files do I have to change and are those files in the cars.wad or in the wad of the track?by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
So kedy89, can you explain me then the difference between a shape and a texture please? I thought that this was the same.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Of course this is possible! You just have to download or make the helmes you want and replace the tex-files in the cars.wad. That should be working, or didn't I get the issue?by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
The cars looks good, nice work. But when renaming textures in GP4 Builder, don't forget to rename the textures five times for each car (five different files have to be renamed, lod 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) because you'll get strange white cars in the game if you don't (I've already experienced that once). If you want to use also car 2 you have to rename further five other lods for caby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I think the problem is not the game but the computer. On Windows 7 I have the same problem, but when I'm using a XP Mode I have no problems like that. GP4 and Windows 7 is an explosive mixture which is blowing up sometimes.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Maybe someone finds this interesting: I've tested different performance file settings to figure out what's the absolutely top speed you can reach (not the speed of the computer controlled drivers). I found out that the top speed is highest of a car performance of exactly 195117 (195118 doesn't work anymore), and the drivers' performance doesn't matter then, 20000 is the sby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
You will develop and publish GP5? That's very nice! Well, one more question: Is it possible to drive faster than 370 kph in GP4? Special performance files and TSM doesn't work on that issue, maybe you have an idea.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
But someday 30 km will be possible? Maybe in GPxPatch version 5?by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I think I have seen this tool in Team Editor 3.5, but I'm not sure if that is what you mean.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
So which setting should I add? And I've got another question: Is it possible to build a 30 kilometers long track with GP4 Builder and use it in GP4? I have invented such a long track and would like to build it in some months or years. Thanks.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Maybe you download the track and replace the old one in the game with the downloaded one. It is possible that something bad happened to the wad-file of the Magny-Cours track. Here is a link:by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
No work is too much for me, maybe you can give me some instructions. Thanks.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I already tried out many different combinations of car power and driver power in the performance file. The fastest combination is 17000 for the driver and 1000000 for the car. The computer drivers then reaches in Hockenheim 1968 a maximal speed from 484 kph, in wind shadow even 492 kph. And the driver with that I drive (and it doesn't matter which one I choose) reaches a top speed of only 37by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I've got to more problems with GP4 again: 1. Where can I change the positions of GPxPatch fonts? The speed display is exactly over the left mirror so I would like to change that. 2. Using TSM, I changed the magic data of power and grip factor so I could go faster than 360 kph in Hockenheim 1968. I exported the wad- and dat-file to a seperate folder and put that ones into the rigby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
You can download the original Cars.wad 2013, there are the Pirelli tyres included.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
You can update your performance at single tracks with TSM in the tab "Magic Data". But I don't know how to get these differences into the game, maybe someone can help me as well. Greetings, TGF1DRIVERby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I don't know exactly, but maybe with Team Editor 3.5? There may be some conflicts with GP4Tweaker, I don't know. Maybe someone else can give a better answer.by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I could do this as well, but with XP Modes there isn't the danger to lost some tracks. One XP Mode with all original tracks and one or two other ones with different download tracks. As I said already, I don't trust GP4 running with Windows 7 anymore, and an overheating problem as you said is not faceable I think. Where can I enable panels in GPx? I can't find it....by TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
You won't believe it, but I have set up a complete new XP Mode and on this one there is no jerky graphic anymore! I only installed the official 9.6 Patch directly after the first installation of the game and then I installed GPxPatch, Team-Editor, decrypted.exe and other tracks and my own cars. I think my mistake was that I have installed the 9.6 Patch after everything else at the old XP Moby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
I don't think it's a problem with the system. I'm still using VM Lite XP Modes, because I don't trust in Windows 7. You know, I drove more than 200 complete races on the few XP Modes I have and the game has never crashed yet during a race (except freezing errors with 3 or 4 special tracks, but I fixed this already). I started a complete race on Windows 7 once, but the game craby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
But now the next problem appeared! Since I have installed the Patch 9.6, the graphics are a bit jerky, which disturbs pretty. I never had such jerky graphics before, so I think it might be a problem with Patch 9.6. I tried another download of that, but nothing changed. Then I tried another version of GPx-Patch. I tried another decrypted.exe. Changed 0 to 1 in f1graphics.cfg. Tried different traby TGF1DRIVER - Grand Prix 4
