Looks awesome, can't wait! With the video embedding, when I post Vimeo videos here, it won't work with https links, only http. This seems to work for YouTube also, but only if I look at it on my phone.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Jaguar added to first post. Bit of a throwback to their 2000-2004 liveries here, but a bit more simple overall.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Finally got around to adding functionality for Gear counts & Tyre Tread/Rim textures, all in accordance with GPxPatch 4.44 At the moment, it is required that your Teams.csv file has columns for Gear, Tread and Rim. I'll make this optional in a future update but, for now, just fill those columns with zeros and delete the sections from the generated Perf file if you don't use them.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the kind words everyone, always nice to hear. Cadbury Ferrari (images and download link) added to first post, along with v0.5 of the mod's Form Guide. The guide contains team descriptions - driver lineups, info, strengths/weaknesses - and renders of each team. Some of the renders in the guide aren't final versions of the livery, but the changes that will happen are onlyby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Fantastic, glad to have been of help! It's nice when the simplest solutions work! As for the pedals, I don't have much of a specific idea, but I'd suggest taking a look at Pinnacle Game Profiler. I had a problem playing GP4 with my Xbox 360 controller, because the Triggers were a single axis. PGP let me split them into two separate axis'.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for providing all of that, this sort of thing is so much easier with as much info as possible. With all of that, I'm pretty sure that it's just your laptop (mainly that Intel graphics) not having the grunt needed for GP4, at least at your current graphics settings. GP4 is quite graphics intensive; the recommended hardware requirements it was advertised with all those years agby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Hi there. A couple of questions: 1) Have you installed, and are you launching the game through, GPxPatch? This goes a long way towards fixing a lot of issues. 2) Could you post the contents of your F1Graphics.cfg, located in the same folder as your GP4.exe? (Probably don't copy and paste it here, as it's quite long; try Pastebin or something) 3) Could you post your system specs? 4)by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

At work again on another fantasy mod, and I've decided to standalone release my liveries as I go. (I saw a couple of non-CSM users asking for some CSM authors to do this, and it seemed like a good idea.) [*] All releases will come with the livery as .tex files, a .tga file and an .xcf file for editing in GIMP, and will include a detailed Readme. [*] All liveries will be for MDBSnakeby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

I could be well off, but I think the blue tint (as well as some other things) are controlled by the 'weather.wdt' file in a track's .wad file. For example, from F1 Virtual's Quattro Raceway which I think has this tint.: version 2 1.000 ;DirectionalFogScalar 0.240 ;AmbientConstant 0.750 ;AmbientFogConstant 0.250 ;AmbientFogScalarby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Two methods for tyres with GP4 Builder. Method 1: 1) Open the car in GP4 Builder 2) Create a new scene and, into this new scene, import a front tyre model. (car_wheel_front_lod_0.gp4) 3) Move the new scene around until the tyre is in the correct place. 4) Go into the new scene, click on the 'F_wheel_R_OuterRim' and have a look at it's Centre Position. 5) That number shouldby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Nice write up Tom. I'm assuming that this - coupled with the CC-line - is why the AI are just too damn fast around 2001 A1 Ring? Whoever was in charge of the AI Power/Grip factors didn't do enough to compensate for the desc46 and desc47 there? (Or maybe I just suck at the AI Ring ) @Prblanco Not a bad theory that, seems to fit what the graph shows.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, A bit of a two part question here: 1) Which values in a physics file affect the amount of (Magic Data) 'fuel units' needed per lap? Obviously the rev limit does - higher = more fuel, lower = less fuel - and I'm assuming some of the drag values do as well, but are there any others, as far as people know? 2) Has anybody got a formula they use to adjust these 'fueby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Is your external writer plugged in? If not, do it. This is because, even if you use the No-CD patch, GP4 still checks to make sure you actually have a disc drive.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Hi all, This is a little program I wrote to make something a bit easier on me and now, with a few modifications, I've made it flexible enough that, hopefully, more people can find a use for it. If you've got spreadsheets - one with team information, another with driver information - chances are this can work for you. (See the 'Notes' section for the rules that need followingby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Not that I know of, on both counts unfortunately. (The rest of this is speculation, so make of it what you will) This is because of the way GP4 enforces the rev limit; rather than being a single hard limit, it has three limits. This can be seen in a GPxSet.log file, after using a physics set. Patching max RPM1 from 16600.000000 to 15000.000000 Patching max RPM2 from 16800.000000 to 151by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
I saw in the Readme that you were still having trouble with the torque .ini file not being loaded. Unless that note was left in there by mistake, I think it might just be a problem on your end Tom, as it works fine for me, with all the right stuff appearing in GPxSet.logby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
