Nopee, it's found a few things but no GP4.exe's and nothing in the "Program Files/Infogrames/Grand Prix 4" folder :/ As for the CD Installer, it says Re-install/Uninstall...... o.Oby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
I doubt it, all the other directories are there, just for some reason there isn't an Infogrames :s The deleting I did before was what mortal suggested here: http://www.grandprixgames.org/ I just feel like I've gone round in circles, it's at this point I normally give up :P But not this time, I'm getting this sorted!! It comes up with the message "GP4 is already updated." But it isn't... I did another FRESH install, first thing I did after that was launch the patch and it says I'm already updated...!! Thanks for trying to help though, it's really appreciated!by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Hi, this is a post about a problem I've had since I first got this game, and now I'm fed up with it. When I was about 8 or 9 years old (10 years ago), my uncle got this game for me (quite possibly illegally, I don't know) with a 2002 mod, but it did have a couple of things wrong with it... The Ferrari's were always white, bits of all the cars were white (i.e. the carbon parby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Of course, just personal preference So you have run GP4 on the same computer with high resolution graphics, and it worked fine..?by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Extract your cars.wad, and use TexResizer to scale down your textures. Then recompile your cars.wad and it'll be a lot fasterby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

It's because in CSM they don't have to be named correctly as they're linked differently. In non-CSM you'll know the .gp4 files have to be named "car_ferrari_lod0.gp4" etc. So to fix this, extby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Truee, except that if a car reaches the danger zone while the car is still being pushed away the lap counter will once again turn yellow, making you think there's a new problem :/by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Great work, and brilliant quality!! Only thing I'd say is how is the final lights out one not be "GO GO GO!!" :Pby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Perfection!!! :D Is the "Q1" just as the default for qualifying, and is that on practise too? And one last thing, is the yellow lap counter the whole way round, or just in the sector like the yellow steering wheel lights? Epic graphics though!! :Dby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Very nice thread, keep it up please! :Dby spencer4242 - Other Motorsports
Yeah ITV took it over ages ago, but because they do the whole shebang (a 6/7 hour production including all support races) it's shown on ITV4 :/ Check there on a BTCC Sunday and you'll find it, starts at 11am and finished around half 5pm usuallyby spencer4242 - Other Motorsports
Awesome work, I cannot wait!! :D Thanks alot guys! Also, just a couple of points: - Will there be the qualifying graphics down the left, possibly showing times? (see below) - Secondly, in F1 atm the 5 car graphic at the bottom alternates between gap from leader and gap from car in front, is this a possibility? I'm sure whatever you produce will be ace! ^^by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Any news on the "surprise"? :Pby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Thanks for the help! I'm 99% sure I did have, so still no idea why it was spazzing out :S But I've found a compromise in the Arial design, which doesn't quite fit as it makes them have a tiny eye slit, but at least it doesn't flickerby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
I downloaded a 1993 helmet set and have come across a problem with every helmet. Sometimes they look perfect, but then other times it's as if the helmets are layered on top of each other...! Here's Senna's helmet, and during a single lap it will flip between these two about 5 times... Anyone come across this before or know what the issue is? :/by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
