SDI I've found another issue..! I set the practice length to 120 mins, AI fuel load for 20 laps, with a lap limit of 40 laps. Everything was going fine, up til around the hour mark when chequered flags started appearing next to drivers' names, when they still had around 17 laps to go. Just a quick question, what's the fastest pit-stop you've had on GP4? There are various tweaks for adjusting things like refuelling speed, etc, so what sort of times have people got it down to, and how? I ask because the todays stops are usually between 2.5 to 3.5 seconds, considerably faster than GP4's standard stops. Did you ever fix this problem? I just had a go at modding the anim to 2007, and came across the same problem! I extracted a bog-standard anim.wad, replaced the pitcrew files, and it ran fine with the new crews. Went to do exactly the same process but with the engin files into quali skins, and the game crashes on loading quali... I don't see the logic here :/by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Nahh he's talking about the hard-coded AI :/ Basically, this is the hardest part of the ai's actions to program, and considering this game was 11 years ago, they did a pretty good job at it..!
