Hello to all, user quickslick told me that there were some troubles with downloading this track. So I re-uploaded it and also implemented all improvements available to this track. So version 1.1 ist now available via the following link, as well as in the first post of this thread. Some major bugs are now solved. Nevertheless, it still has a lot of bugs, sorry for that. I hope you enjoy the Burby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Wow, amazing tool! Thanks for the screenshots! Great!by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Wow, great to hear that! A collision point editor would really be nice to have! Nevertheless, would you mind, to re-upload your screenshots to maybe a bit more established provider, please? Postimg.cc is totally unknown to me an - surprise, surprise - Your pics are not available, already. Thanks !by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
I don't have so much time for GP4 at the moment, sorry for that. Anyway, many thanks to Prblaco for identifying the detailed function of this feature and sharing it with the community, great! And, of course, many thanks to TomMK for sharing his descriptions.txt-file with the whole community, as well! That was exactly, what I was looking for !by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for this basic work, Prblanco!by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

Wow, that are great new findings with the magic data, here! Many thanks for trying this out and for sharing with the community, Prblanco! Still, I'm quite fascinated by all the opportunities provided via magic data. Oh, it's very sad to hear this ! I also don't know Brett Sinclair personaly, but I wish you a lot of strength in here! Many years ago, my beloved girlfriend passed away, so I know what a difficult time this can be and I wish you, Brett Sinclair, just all the best and I will pray for you. @ viking75: Indeed, a very strange problem. Are you sure, you do not exceed the maximum numbers of objects/faces/vertices per GP4-Builder-scene? If so, you should transfer some objects to other/new scenes. But probably, this is not your problem, because GP4-Builder warns of it, if I remember it correctly. Nevertheless, I hope some of the trackediting masters will read this and try to give somby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Well, your problem is a bit strange. The only thing I can recommend you is, that once I made a tutorial of how to fix invisible objects, including several easy steps that can made one after one. I hope that helps you to fix this problem. You can download the tutorial here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/gubuaen5i8ajuek/How_To_Fix_Invisible_Objects.rar/fileby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Or even with a value of 0, which I prefer for all tracks, I drive on. It means that the car will use the full width of the start/finish straight from the first sector on. In addition, in the past there was some speculation about line 49, named 'subtracted from diff between field_e2 of 2 cars and then compared to speed of first car' or 'related to slipstream?'. The Question is: Why did he stop 5 laps before the chequered flag? Probably it has something to do with the cmagic-file and can be fixed, yes. 1. Did he stop due to low fuel in the car? Then open the magic data and decrease the cc-fuel-consumtion value (in GP4-Builder named "AI fuel consumption" - of about 15% in your case. If the value is correct, the cc-cars will use 1.0 fuel laps pby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Would it be to complex to have a look at the Tweaker once again to see which option of both it is? I don't think so ! In my Tweaker-version the option says by the way: 'Apply to outer pit area boundaries'. It's quite clear what that means, isn't it?by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Hi simonparker, yes, in many aspects the GP4-game is quite amazing - especially considering its high age of 18 years, now! 1.) GP4 is quite close to reality, I think. Just have a look at the physical driving of the cars. You can feel clearly that a studied physicist (Geoff Crammond) made this game. 2.) Yes, the CC-cars will change their tyres if it starts to rain or the track dries out.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

Currently, I can't confirm that desc50 (known as 'tyre wear player' and desc72 (known as 'tyre wear ai' or 'ccshuffler' work for both, players and ccCars. I did not test it once again after SDI's last post, but so far, my results always showed, that both values are doing exactly what they are known as. But nevertheless I am willing to get convinced by other oby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

It's a problem with the car's weight, wasn't it!? The AI cars do not take the weight into account, when they are calculating their overtaking. So, lowering the car's weight in the physics file could maybe solve this problem.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

A lot of things have their influence on the AI's behaviour. Once, a player reported, the AI-cars would collide more often, the more heavier the cars are. So lowering the car's weight in the physics-file could also reduce collisions and -probably- driving mistakes as well.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
