MTP driver lineup change First of all, we want to congratulate Rico van Smirren that he was able to find a race seat directly after his re-entrance into the series. Rico is a very experienced driver and having him in our test driver corps would have benefited the team, I'm sure. But we said from the start that we would not be in his way if there's a chance for a race seat and we'by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
One of them might be filled in the near future. Overall, given how things looked a few weeks ago, I'm rather amazed how well the grid has filled up by now.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

No need to break the law with a cracked version, just use GIMP instead. Nearly as good as Photoshop, equally intuitive and best of all, it's Freeware. /edit: Just one addition: In order to save in other file types (like PSD, TGA and such) don't use 'Save as' but 'Export as' and choose the file type you like.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Indeed a massive improvement, Tobi. It's fascinating how quickly you got into things. If I compare that to my first renders from years ago ... *ducks in shame* The other side of the medal is that elements like the floor mirroring and matt car reflections take a lot of time to render. So, reducing the size of the picture is always a good start. Honestly, I render those pics that are meantby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Since nothing else has been communicated, it should be clear that we're keeping the system that we already used for the second half of last season. And Carlos, you're stuck with this job now. There's only one way out! Maybe a joke ...by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
MTP car launch Enough of teasers, it's time for the real deal! And there are some major changes awaiting us in S12. First of all, Maete Design has not expanded their sponsorship with us after a rather unmotivating second half of a season in S11. For a replacement, our new driver Carlos Rodriguez suggested negotiations with Toblerone to fit the new car design. While I wasn't hopefby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

MTP Press Announcement It is with great pleasure that we can announce today the return of an iconic GPGSL participant into the league. Mr. Rico van Smirren signed a one-season test contract with MTP to see if he still got what it takes to drive in this league! Welcome back Rico, it's so great to have you with us. This means that at the moment, there is no seat left for myself so thatby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Well, Marcus, at least nobody was laughing AT you, at least before you ridiculed yourself once again with this last post. And for the record, age is not a natural marker for respect. There is no need to stress it all the time, especially since the majority of people here aren't teenagers either and age alone is anyway no indicator for maturity. This is a community of equal people who sometimby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Maverick presents S12 helmet With the official team launch still on hold while we are in negotiations with a potential new tyre supplier, I use the time to present my S12 helmet in advance. For once, I didn't feel like coming up with something completely fresh, so it's just an evolution of the S11 design. Some say ... consistency is a virtue. The only thing I have to complain about is that the grid is already filling up with too much whiteby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Great job, Greg! I really like this one. It has quite an Indycar-ish color and sponsor scheme and will definitely stick out in the grid. Just render-wise, I think you should lower the car (or at least the rear) a tiny bit. On the first render it looks like the car was hanging in the air and overall, sinking it a tiny bit into the ground makes it look more like there was actual weight on the tby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

MTP Press Announcement It is with great delight that we can today announce the latest addition to the MTP lineup. Everybody deserves a second chance in life and since Michael Soutsen expressed interest in returning to the series and we kinda had a valid contract for this season, it was a logical choice to give him a second chance with the team. Especially so since Michael promised that his sudby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
No matter the final decision, we will need RD-ready versions of those 8 tracks anyway (if not this season, then next at the latest). So getting them game-ready is surely no harm. But if you say that there are no good alternatives for most of those tracks, we might just offer to replace Melbourne with Adelaide and Hockenheim with the Nürburgring in the track voting.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
I, personally, wouldn't mind some variety. Melbourne could be replaced with Adelaide, Monza with Imola, Silverstone with either Donington or Brands Hatch and Hockenheim with the Nürburgring. I suggest you come up with a possible replacement list and then people can vote during the track voting whether to to have the new list or keep the standard track list.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Indeed great news to have you back, Jake! Also good to see that Christel is making progress in finding drivers. @Glen: I'll take the No. 1 test drive this season. As for Snake's lineup, I can't remember having seen a statement, yet.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
To keep the waiting time during the pre-season as short as possible, who is stepping up to help out with the track voting and creation of a reliable track pack later on? I suggest that the board will come up with a track voting list again based on the data given to us by Tobi and Connor before the season and once we have a valid track list, somebody would be needed to test the available tracks, fby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Well, it's a shame that we couldn't hold onto that 7th position in the end. It seems Matteo once again lost a lot of time in the pits so we'll have to look into this to somehow improve our pit stop performances. The positive side is that we're allocated a bit more boost for next season, hopefully we can make something out of it! Also thanks to Gianluigi that he stepped in wby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
