Not quite what I was hoping for with a double boost, but it could be worse. Let's hope the main guys find a few tenths later on.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
I was aware of the situation but also the fact that Christel was struggling to get in touch with Michael. For the test drive, I suggest just go along with it as is, meanwhile we can adapt the race driver perfs and mod for Michael to drive for Christel. He'll then get the race driver perf points eventually. No harm to anybody and the best solution to keep things going.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
After that last race, I'd even see us behind Alpha in the power ranking. Hopefully we can turn things back around in Canada. I'm still having those bittersweet memories from two seasons ago, so fingers crossed that the MTP car will not let us down so easily.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
It's so damn frustrating that once again a really good drive from Matteo is ruined somewhere in the pits. From P7 before the pit stop down to P15 (even including some DNFs in front of him) ... We were looking good for some solid points, at least ... sorry Matteo.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Oh well, great by myself, good by Michael, but the main qualifying definitely wasn't what we were hoping for. It's especially striking that mostly that driver that drove brilliantly in the past race struggles really hard in the next round ... looks like MTP's win streak is over. But let's see what the boys can do in the race to cover some points, at least.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Hell yeah! Who has the best driver pair? MTP has! Brilliant drive, Carlos. Matteo decreased damage, at least. I wouldn't have dreamed for such a start into the season, but heck, I'll take it! Now, everything is possible this season and I'm confident that with a consistent driver pair like this, MTP is looking into a bright future.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Brilliant defensive driving from Carlos so far, I'm very proud of him to hold onto this 2nd and keeping him out longer, despite the worn down tyres, paid of as well since he stayed out of traffic. Now bring it home, man! We need this podium. Matteo is struggling all day long, unfortunately. Keep pushing, though, maybe we can profit at the later stage of the race.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Well, both drivers had a good pace and Carlos could have taken the pole if we had timed his stint a little better. But it was once again a gamble whether the conditions improved or worsened. Overall, 3rd and 8th still offers many chances for the race, so well done boys!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Back from my holidays and trying to catch up the top news. Meanwhile, very good work Michael! You were out at the right time and made the best out of it. That raises hopes for the main qualifying as well. I was pretty unlucky with the weather, although Eric showed what was still possible. I just couldn't get the perfect temperature in the tyres. But meh, as long as my other drivers brinby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Gorgeous one, Stu!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Indeed, I'm also with Tobi and Eric here. Tom Dilain was a driver for SCS when the perfs for round 1 were released and he hadn't violated any rule at this stage. Ergo, he'll be given the points for round 1 and ejected for round 2.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
MTP press statement Wow, what an unexpected first win for MTP so early in the second season! Obviously I'm thrilled with Matteo's win. This is what we're racing for and Matteo did an incredible job out there today, starting with a superb start and then staying out of trouble. Both our drivers had the pace today which is also proven by the fastest laps table. Even the more disaby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Both runs could have stopped after the first stints, and I would have been extremely happy. This way the main driver qualifying is still promising, very good job, boys. And only split by a thousand of a second. In the tester qualifying, it was a pity that we couldn't improve in the second run, like most others did.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Off to a well-needed holiday week in Iceland. But I'll try to check in once in a while, if the high-praised WLAN works as it should Also, big congrats Maikel!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

I don't know how exactly the t300 works, but there should be an external program that allows you to reduce the steering angle from 900 degrees to a smaller number. Something around 250 degrees will serve better for a F1 car.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Helmet renders would be me, I guess. Send the files please, I will try to get them done tomorrow.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Must be the car colours and/or angles then, to me the rims look even better on the Alpha shots. And honestly, I love the last angle. But meh, we established before that our tastes are quite different sometimesby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Great design, a bit Arrows-inspirated. And Tobi even improved the look of the rims, looking fantastic.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Tobi's great process motivated me to also put a second hand on my latest scene since I wasn't very happy with a few details, especially the rims, tyres and mirrors. The changes nearly doubled my render time, but I think they're worth it. Before: After: Before: After: And the new mirrors and windshield:by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Sweet subtle changes to the livery, good job Glen. And Tobi, you really found superb settings for the tyre and especially the rim shader. They look fantastic.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Tobi, Greg & I are currently the ones able to do them. Just make your choice and send the files.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
