Given the ranking in the WDC, the MTP drivers will swap positions next season, with Carlos being Racer1 and Matteo Racer2.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

I'm extremely happy with that 2nd because in all honesty, it was very lucky. The MACs are extremely fast but they also learned the reliability lesson today when going all in. Aidan drove a heck of a race, there was no chance I could have gone his pace, so congrats to a well deserved win. With Matteo's engine, I'm just glad that it happened in the Feature Race, so hopefully we cby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
The great benefit of the Ryzen 5 is that its integrated GPU is way ahead of the integrated Intel GPUs, so if you're aiming for something integrated, you're probably better off with the Ryzen. As for motherboards, I can recommend Asus. Since you'll probably need an ITX mainboard in such a small case, the most logic choice to go would be Asus' ROG STRIX B450-i Gaming (or the resby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Well, if it's just these two for the moment, it's a clear recommendation for the i7 version, simply because only the i7, as far as I'm aware of, supports hyper threading (virtual doubling of available cores). Since both of these Nucs don't have that high a clock frequency, the hyper threading will definitely have a big impact since your rendering program can use 8 instead of jby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Well, that was an overall disappointing race for MTP, I must say. First I was extremely unlucky with the weather conditions in the FP and then both Carlos and Matteo threw away increadibly important points in the last stages of the race. I think we'll have to invest more in mental trainers for next season, given how many points accumulated like this over the course of the season.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Nice that I could profit some from the mayhem in front of me, then lost a bit again in the pits and overall didn't have the pace to fight for anything, as expected with no boost. So, not a too bad session for myself. Matteo once again had issues and I fear that he will face similar issues in his home main race. But with only limited boost available, we had to make strategical decisions and hby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Probably not, since there are no driver changes or any livery changes in the pipeline. Plus, as a general announcement, I will be on a motorhome tour through Sweden starting coming Wednesday until April 21st. I hope to get the perfs done before my departure but there won't be any time for a new mod (unless Stu wants to compile a new version). As far as the serious analysis of this race goes ... YES! YES! Nanananana nananana, YES! *clear throat* I'm glad that I could prove myself that I still have it. After the mostly desastrous FP sessions in this season, this win (and its fashion) really pamper my consciousness. And it's also (hopefully) a good sign for the main race that we can keep up with the double-boosted cars. Maby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Yeah ... no! Don't remember either when I last checked my account. Plus, my students regularly confirm to me that Facebook is completely out nowadays! Of course you're welcome to use the existing FB group or open a new one and offer extra information/entertainment there as a voluntary service, but I don't see the core of the series moving away from the forum any time soon. Congrats to Maikel from my side as well. And I agree that there are few better reasons to go absent. What I don't really get is why nobody makes use of the notification rule. Just a few words of warning, a planned temporary transfer of the team to the No. 1 driver for one season and you're good to go for a lot of family time with the option to return later. Horrifying qualifying, solid race by Carlos and stellar driver by Matteo. That's really the best-expected outcome we could have asked for. And I'm still glad that we didn't put a boost on risk here in the rainy conditions. In other news, I'm in holidays and the flu struck me down. As long as you replaced the correct perf file Spa-Francorchamps.txt in the Performance folder of the mod and chose the correct round in the mod itself, there's no need for a new mod. To make sure that the new perf was used, you could change the name of one driver to a fictional one in the performance file, load up GP4 and check if that name is there. If it is, you're good to go.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
I want to apologize for the delay but last week was a real mess for me. I just got the perfs done and Chris will be checking them soon, so expect some action in the not too distant future.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Maverick Track Performance - Press Release It is with great relief that today we are able to announce the continuing partnership with both our main drivers: Matteo Scala and Carlos Rodriguez.
