The highest speed on the circuit is set just before braking for Stowe. And Chapel's modification will definitely decrease that top speed. Applies to both cars and motos, but probably was implemented with the motos is mind.by Cyberacer - F1
Here's my opinion, given through an example: Consider you buy a new car. In the beggining it is identical with any other one (same model) that is sold by the manufacturer. As you start to use it you start adding things, you start modding it. Some of these "things" can be removed, like the seat covers (and bring the seats to the original state) but most are permanent, like aby Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4

Mate, you forced the logo to be shown just outside of the right bottom corner of your screen !!! - In the part of the panel.ini file, the values "Right" and "Bottom" should be set to 1024 and 768 respectively, to suit better your screen's resolution. - In the part: "X" is the distance in pixels, of logo's left side from screen's left side (e.g.by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
pimpo, GP4 functions are really strange some times... one last hint: In game menu > options > race options > opposition spread, you see the selections "2001 level" and "all the same". Drive some laps with each of them and then select the one that gives you better results. cheers...by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
I tested again the download function of the performance file and it works fine. Anyway, here's a direct link for it: I hope it will work for you.by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
Hi Pimpones1, Acceleration and top speed depend on ALL these parameters: - Physics - Performances - TORQUES What you should do, is inserting the torques of 804bhp at your GP4.exe file. I explain what happens if you use only the physics and the performances, but not the torques: As you said... > when (gpxpatch) CAR POWER TEAM DEPENDENT is on, > the car behaves slower than wby Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4

This is what I would like to see: Cars run the same way on start-finish straight, all run-off areas are located at the correct positions and only minor track modifications are needed. Mr. Tilke, do you read me?by Cyberacer - F1

Hi guys, I just released version 2.0 of generic performances. Did that to make opposition spread more real and because I realized I had swapped qualify and race performances in ver.1.0 (sorry for this ) When using ver.2.0 of generic performances with my ver.2.0 of 2009 physics & torques, you get the following opposition spread: - about 2.2 secs on qualifying (first 20 cars) - about 2.9by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
Thank you Pimpones1. I also did many tests ... and even what I propose is not perfect. Tests of 100% races showed this: 1-2 AI cars out of 5-8 that entered pits for front wing change, were refueled. Even though they had "more than enough" fuel to finish the race without refueling. The good thing is that some of these cars were not refueled - only wing and tyres were changed. @ midiman: - CSM needs a non-modified decrypted GP4.exe to work properly. - If you follow EXACTLY the instructions about inserting the torque values, you shouldn' t face any problem. BUT, if you have chosen at your computer's local settings, to use in numbers as decimal digits seperator the "," instead of "." you should open the torques.ini file with a text edby Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4

NO, this is not the way to do it. You have to edit THE AI CAR SETUP in track's magic data, using one of these programmes: - cmagic.exe (for non-CSM mods) - TSM (for CSM mods)by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
Just use the Sepang magic datas of the original GP4 game - 2002.by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
@ WestPunx: When in season you still have to adjust the AI's setup seperately for each track, meaning 17 times for 2009 season... In GP4 I have only 1 qualifying session - just like everyone (or not?) When I say Q2 I mean get from F1's official site (www.formula1.com) the lap times recorded in Q2 session and the top speeds recorded at qualifying session. Why Q2 times? Solution to a (possible) Fuel Consumption problem - In case you use the "GP4-2009 Physics & Torques, Version 2.0" it is possible (depending on the magic data of the track you use) that in full races - 100% length, some AI cars run out of fuel. - In original (2002) GP4 tracks, fuel consumptions in magic datas (two values) should be MULTIPLIED BY 0.8986 to correct the fuel consuby Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
@ WestPunx: The way to make AI run real timings is fully explained in the file "GP4form_2009_Physics&Torques_(Cyberacer)_ver.2.0.doc" included in the physics and torques pack v.2.0. Summarized: - Use in Sepang the soft-tyres version of the physics (not the supersoft - it's written in the *.doc). - Adjust the AI gear ratios to get the real top speed at about 17700-17800rby Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4

@ pimpones1: Mate, what you get is normal GP4 output. For minor horsepower differences you will get top speeds with hardly noticeable variations. But if you test with a car set at 804bhp and another one set at 900bhp you will see the a huge difference in acceleration and top speed. The revmeter goes easily above 18000rpm and if you rearrange the gear ratios top speed is very much higher.by Cyberacer - Grand Prix 4
