Aww, I somehow missed that graphical update - I should've worked on your version then, not the original one! Sorry. And I kinda know that bias feel, so no worries.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
That, and use the improved Bathurst track! (Where there is a longer wall awaiting you at the exit of Forrest's Elbow, just like IRL.)by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Will do, but I'm still testing things. I've learned how to use the Text Logging feature of GPxPatch - well, to be honest, I've just managed to construct a few meaningful Excel functions which help me filter the data that we need from the logs, laptimes, top speeds, minimum speeds, etc. so I can do some rather robust tests on a lot of assumptions and figures.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Bump. Guys, you won't quite believe what I have found out about a few values here... It's quite outrageous. So far, I have news on "tyre wear player", "downforce?" and "ride height" with - hopefully - many more to come. Stay tuned.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4

Oh, what a nice surprise! Looking forward to that. It looks great.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Prblanco had been developing the new F1 solution, based on his WIP files, but he is not involved with track building for GP4 anymore AFAIK. There was an old project to develop the 1A layout (using the old Verriere chicane and the full Mistral Straight), but that one was abandoned as well. However, you may still find a beta version of the latter, without scenery and with only the basic blueby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys, Please let me proudly present to you the 2016 version of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, one of the most famous race tracks in the US and in the world, one of the top 20 best race tracks in the world and the circuit with one of the most iconic and thrilling corners in motorsport, the Corkscrew. Now GP4 already has two versions of this great track by other authors, but although this oneby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Looks great! I guess it helps authors greatly who are interested in liveries only and not really keen on doing the shapes as well. Thank you, guys.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Just found a video about Mika Hakkinen lapping Laguna Seca in a McLaren M23 a few months ago - and, quite astonishingly, in his first words out of the car, he was not enthusing about the car, he was enthusing about the track! Here it is (plus an onboard lap, sort of): (I assume these were his first words; it's an official McLaren video, so it would have made sense for McLaren to edby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4

Here you go, guys, a short preview for you: Release in a few days, possibly a week. (Testing a few things, et cetera.) The track itself is a beast - Road Atlanta may be quicker (I have updated the elevations of that one as well and will put it back up at some point), but Laguna Seca has a quite unbeatable set of characteristic corners. Almost all of them are either blind or very heavilyby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Looks great. Are you sure about the relatively shallow rise at Turn 8 though? Did you use the official elevation map? Otherwise excellent.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Put the Bathurst track link up in the first post of this thread as well. (Actually did it some time ago, but still. ) More news on some future stuff soon - let's just say you'll soon be able to run on an accurate version of Laguna Seca...by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Bump. It's mainly the sectors to pit begin, sectors to pit end and pre pit speed limit values in magic data that help here. You should make sure the sector values don't prompt erratic veers from the CC cars that might trigger a crash, i. e. try to make them long enough so that they join the CC-line seamlessly - or at least allow the CC cars to make a nice smooth way from the CC-liby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4

Thank you, and happy holidays to you as well, guys!by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
This is going to be seriously good.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
It's released guys. Awfully excited by this one, it's SUCH an epic circuit; it's surely up there with the Nordschleife and Macau. You know you're driving a great track when it continues to throw marvellous, unique and exciting streches of road at you even when you think it couldn't possibly have more in reserve. That's the feeling I get driving down the Kessby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys, Today I would like to introduce you to a heavily-remastered version of ToJepo's excellent version of Mount Panorama. Without much further ado, please find the download link below. DOWNLOAD LINK: Here's the intro to the 2011 Bathurst 1000 to get you in the mood (one of the best intros ever made IMHO): And here's the short preview released earlier:by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
You're welcome. Prblanco from F1Virtual was actually working on the F1 layout a long time ago, but he's retired from GP4 AFAIK and made his WIP files public - that's precisely the reason I know about his version of the Ricard. But it's far from finished and I'm not very much interested in the chicanery variant, especially as I already have the fast-flowing layout. Aby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4

There is a long layout version out there as well, the modern one, although it's missing the scenery. Here's the direct link, but you can look it up in my signature too:by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
Uploaded a Macau version with a bit of an "invisible" leeway at the Melco hairpin to aid keyboard players. Melco is about as tight as Loews in Monaco (or the Gazometre hairpin on the old Monaco circuit), but is on a much steeper decline. As keyboard players basically cannot steer and brake at the same time, this arrangement disadvantaged them big time as they've had to "oveby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
jucksman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > To which version of Interlagos are these cameras > and cc lines better suited, Atticus? Vanilla. But you can use them for whatever version you want, the track layout remained exactly the same since 2001. (Since 1990, to be honest.) New Interlagos CC-line & track cams released, guys - download link in the first post, as usual. It reflects most of the changes that were made either to the camera arrangement around the track or by the advances in ideal line simulations in the last few years and should provide a smooth experience and more realistic lines overall. Resolved - persistent Googling and the usage of the search function yielded results. (In more ways than one, actually, see link below...) I'll refer to the discussion that has led to the solution, offered by Lo2k back in 2013, in case someone is having a similar issue. Just read on from the above post. Thank you, Lo2k.by Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
So I modified the kerbs and some critical run-off areas on ToJepo's Bathurst track (Hell Corner, Griffin's Bend, Forest Elbow, Chase & Murray's Corner) and this is what I'm getting in cockpit view, T-cam view and chase view as I'm going up Mountain Straight. It's about halfway up the straight, from just below the hump right up to the braking zone into Grifby Atticus. - Grand Prix 4
