GPaedia problem using UTF-8 encoded swap.ini Yesterday I realized a problem with the UTF-8 encoding of the "swap.ini" file in subfolder Settings. Normally it does not matter if the INI files are UTF-8 or ANSI encoded. But it can if special characters are used. The spanish resp. french GPS or STR file names contain "español" resp. One thing puzzled me again (as with v0.93): While loading a track the progress bar is not displayed. Then I remembered how I had fixed this the last time. In file Data\GPxPatch\gpxset.ini a specification has to be changed: DisableProgressBar =0 (instead of =1). This may also be done using the CSM-GPxPatch-GPxSet dialog by deactivating .by petrus - Grand Prix 4

Hires GPI Tips Hires sizes A hires GPI size twice as large (x2) as the original GP4 size will usually be okay. In special cases x4 (example: logos) or even x8 (example: teamart helmets) can be considered. A hires 4:3 format for a HD (1920x1080) screen would be 1280x960, which is just twice as large as 640x480. Sometimes the GPI file is not shown in his original size but is stretched. Excalibur: We can't select the language in the mod config. I can do it only into the game options but when you start the mod again, language preferences are not saved and I have to select the language manually in game again. That is the normal behaviour of GP4. If you want to change your starting language, run the original GP4, change your language ingame and exit the game with saving. Theby petrus - Grand Prix 4
GPHUpdater v.0912 The new version of GPHUpdater is ready for download. It has added the support or stretching/compressing GPI file images by changing the width resp. height dimension values. GPH record: horizontal and vertical stretch values Until now I have only used the ID with the width and height values. But there is still more to be discovered. @Samuele: You already made a thread Slimtex Problems in W10. Because this is OT here, it is better to move this discussion to that thread.
