Yep, this track is looking damn nice! Looking forward to racing there at the end of this 2010 season (assuming the track is released by then, of course! Fingers crossed, on that one....) Keep up the great work.by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Having been signed as a Test Driver in the last week or so, I need a new helmet. I have never painted one before, and was just wondering if there are any real secrets to getting a decent looking helmet. I have a design painted up, with a few sponsor logos on it, but what is the next step in getting that tga into GP4 for a "look see"?by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
What a day, what a race!!! A day full of great action at the track today. On the way home right now... Webber had an interesting day. More terrible luck, combined with poor timing on the first pit stop. That Red Bull of his had awesome pace. Just a shame he couldn't keep it up the front all race, and then that crash with a handful of laps to go - his fault, but in reality, with those 3 carby shep34 - F1
As an Aussie, living in Melbourne and having gone to every GP here in Melbourne, i HATE the new start time! It makes for a very long day, which is long enough already! I don't think the later start time enhances the event at all, and according to a newspaper article I read here the other day, the TV viewing numbers in Europe have barely changed. The drivers say they don't like the new tby shep34 - F1

Loving this new Red Bull. Looks fantastic on my pc from the T-Cam view. Hoping to win a championship this year, at the wheel of this RB6by shep34 - Grand Prix 4

Wow! I dont think I remember that track at all!!! Can remember the layouts for most of the old "abandoned" tracks the Aussie Touring cars ran on, as my dad was always watching the races, and then so would I... AIR??!! Do not even remember seeing that one! According to Wikipedia, it was last used in 1988 for the ATCC.... I do however remember this track being used by the Aussie "Nby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
For some reason, I get the textures all messed up. Got black bits on the front, and on several other panels. I am assuming the car model used should be Mitsuro's 2009 Red Bull that got released a month or so ago?? Do the texture files need to be renamed at all to fit the model? I am running on a pretty darn good graphics level, with all the other tex files for cars with the "hi_xxx"by shep34 - Grand Prix 4

The first four events have the "official" event logos posted at Must say, they all look quite similar, and in my opinion, quite bland. They don't appear to show any connection to the actual country that the race is being held in....by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Chandhok will most likely be nothing but embarrassing. I can remember sitting in the grandstands the year Karthikeyan debuted in Melbourne : the field would roar past on race day, then the entire crowd would look back up the road, waiting to see Karthikeyan putt-putt past in the Jordan. I would be amazed if Chandhok is any different....by shep34 - F1
Glad to know I am not the only FS nerd around here! lol! Planning on flying into OMAA tomorrow, in readiness for the F1 weekend, then "home" to YMML, via VHHH.....by shep34 - F1
Thanks for all these great looking helmets, Grl48!! Got them all installed, and they look fantastic in game!! Much appreciated....by shep34 - Grand Prix 4

One of my all time favourite F1 tracks! Got a feeling that Imola will be replacing Sepang for my 2010 season....by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Totally agree with the Sepang issues! That track is almost un-raceable on keyboard, with the element of doubt every lap when approaching that double right hander section. Get slightly off line or a bit too fast, and straight off into the gravel...by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Well i know for the Australian event, the teams get their gear freightered here in 747's, to the Avalon airport, then loaded onto semi-trailers, driven the 45-60 minutes up the road to Albert Park, then unloaded by forklifts and delivered to the teams garages. That usually seems to happen on the Tuesday/Wednesday of the week of the actual F1 race.by shep34 - F1
What a farce - for a country so big and a world superpower, which prides itself on being THE world leader, what a joke that they can't even build an F1 car!!! Laughable.by shep34 - F1
Wow, that's choice!! (poor attempt at a Kiwi accent there, sorry...) Interesting. Looks to be a NZ V8 mod, with the NZ tracks, and paints of the NZ series on the DTM mod. Be worth checking out when released, no doubt. Sure would be nice to get a Commodore and Falcon body shape into an Aussie mod though...by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, the Webber OUT Raikkonen IN rumour has been swirling around for a year or two. Given Webber's age, if he under performs, yes he may get the heave-ho. He has always had the talent, and now that he seems to have the car, that talent is beginning to show itself. 2010 will be very interesting to see how he goes against Vettel. If all that bad luck Webber seems to have, can finally stay awaby shep34 - F1
Avalon as an F1 cicruit? Um, no. No way. Won't happen in any of our life times. Yes, they could build a fantastic circuit there, as there is heaps of vacant land, but.... - no public transport to move people in/out of the circuit like there is at Albert Park. - aesthetically, totally boring. No buildings, homes, trees, nothing. That area is just paddocks. Yes, there is Port Philip Bay, anby shep34 - F1
Surfers Paradise, Adelaide and Philip Island are all at GP4 Database,by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Those profiles do look good, but sadly they point the wrong way for the usual GP4 grid direction. It would take a great deal of work to mirror all the logos on the cars, so it all looks correct....by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
They have to be taking the piss at that site, surely! Have they ever had any sales???!!!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Just watching the Bahrain race on tv now. Wow, looks like yet another capacity crowd in the stands... Guessing there would be at least 200 people there? Will be interesting to see the "official" figure.... Good to see them running on the F1 GP layout. Great layout for the V8s to slide around as the tyres wear off!by shep34 - Other Motorsports
12000 they say huh? Hmmmm, guessing they were counting the race team members, flag marshals, sponsor representatives...lol From the few tv shots we had of grandstands, I would have guessed there were 2000, tops. And that is being extremely generous in an estimation!!! But, given the temperature over there, i guess most of the 12000 people were indoors - wow, what a way to experience seeing the Vby shep34 - Other Motorsports
The new "infield" section is nice to drive. Thats not too bad an "improvement" they have made to the Silverstone layout, but.... I hate the changes to Chapel and Club - the flow of the circuit is just ruined now! But this GP4 version is quite nice! Relatively good to drive! Nice workby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
