Nice to read that you're well! Good to know that you will be still releasing tracks for us.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Yes Math, this is the one, I hope it's no disappointment Thanks guys, for the nice words!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
*edit* I turned this thread into the WSC'89 mod cars thread to keep our forum nice and tidy Now that the word is out about the WSC '89 mod, I think it's time to start my own thread about my Group C cars. Two months ago I was asked by Mark (MarioB) of I would be interested in building one, maybe two cars for a WSC mod that he and Tony were planning. I said yes and starteby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Looks very nice. Good luck with the mapping!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
It's on the list mate. I will add them once I have all the other stuff done.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Seems like it's from an earlier date, nevertheless it gives a nice view on the overcrowded pitlane!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
That's seven weeks from now, I'd better hurry! Made this today:by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Very nice my friend, the site looks ace as well.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Here are the latest renders of Phoenix: I have a lot of work on my hands these days so forgive me if I'm not making a lot of progress. Don't worry, the track will be finished, no matter what!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
@Math, it's beyond my control, just wait and see. You won't be disappointed. @Plodekk, I'm just too busy at the moment. Maybe I can work on it again next weekend.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Looks like a downward facing face is showing through. Maybe the wing needs to be a bit thicker?by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
No problem nhorry. SilverBlaze, see if you can find version 1.0.4.5 - Update 2 and Cummulative Update 1. I used that one for the 1991mod.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
The latest version of tweaker won't save your data. The best thing you do is hit the ~ key to display the tweaker data and make a screenshot. You can use the data you see on the screenshot in the .ini files.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Amazing work. Keep it up, I love the level of detail you put into it!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
1. You can use the Gizmo of the UVWMapping modifier to rotate, scale and move (click the + ). Adding the UnwrapUVW modifier is also possible. 2. I think you mean how to unite vertices? It's called "weld" and this normalized the vertices as well.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
When I open your file in 3dsMax it says "improper file format". The .3ds export of Blender isn't working well. I took the liberty of re-exporting it with 3dsmax. here it is:by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Great model Graigo. Nice to see a scratch built F2007 for Gp4.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Looks very nice! Take your time finishing them. Just one thing to add: Try to keep the cars on the clear center part of the image. The BMW and the RBR are cut off by the semi transparent parts.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Gildoorf, have you tried face map? Box is only useful for box shaped objects. You can also try Unwrap UVW, looks a lot like the UVMapper of ZModeler, it gives you complete mapping control.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
No, nothing yet. I've been too busy the last couple of days to work on Phoenix.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Very nice job Ruben! I think turn 3 is a bit too wide but otherwise impressive.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Amazing! I see the ccline has improved dramatically since the version I have, very well done.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
The screens are great, I really like them. The latest layout is a huge improvement. I love the lower case letters but it's really up to you. Maybe you could make the lap record part different, like: lap record: 1'23.456 m. schumacher (2004) That keeps the numbers all nice in a row from top to bottom. You can also try to add a vertical divider between the three top sections (by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Just a few things to add: DTM is a big series in Europe, not just Germany. Real life DTM cars are pretty much "on rails". Maybe not as much as F1's but the physics of the mod well are adjusted to that. I'm looking forward to the updates Tony.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
That is indeed our mod. He has no copyright of these files and it is clearly pirated. Maybe you guys can post a reaction on that page that you can get the real 1991 mod for free at 1991mod.drivingitalia.net? Please notify the administrator of that marketplace of the illegal actions of this person. I'm willing to provide all the info needed to prove our case. Thanks for standing up forby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
I understand Jim I don't think anyone could guess what it'll be, I never thought mentioning that I'm on a new project could cause this to happen! But you can always try Celinho, that's a wild one!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Hey, this wasn't meant to be the "guess Erik's new project" thread Like I said before: you will hear it soon enough. I'm sure most of you will like it. I plan to do some substantial work on Phoenix next week so expect new screenshots and renders by the end of next week. Alas I can't control fate so don't hurt me if I can't keep my promise...by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
At the moment there's just three, maybe four people that know of this new project. Actually it's not my project, I'm just contributing to itby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Not even close!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
