nice post kev ! it´s absolutely the same with me. i barely drive this sim. then i only go for some laps, struggle, end up watching the beautiful car- and trackmods in that game. btw: who is running gp4 with csm and who has got multilpe instalations for the different seasons ? i run different copies of gp4 for each season i compiled. with my "highest" skill level for 06 and 07 seasoby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

well, i fear that it will be hard to combine both, this one is a 3d shape, the t-cam arms are hardcoded in the gp4.exe. for the t-cam the helmet-arm-steer shape was almost perfect. i don´t mind not to see 120 degrees wheel-turning in t-cam-view. and i don´t drive in t-cam anyway... and for this arms it will be as with the steering wheel, only one shape/texture for all cars. csm-users couldby schroeder - Grand Prix 4
after a long time of other things and hoping bojan to finish the textures, he finaly left me with about 75 to 80% finished textures. loosing lots of motivation i put this project aside. but i still want to finish it... with the help of my friend diego/öggo i hope to finish this beauty soon, to bring it to the still interested of you...kev... mattby schroeder - Grand Prix 4
hi mates, while i was playing around with my personal steering wheel i created this: real 3d arms and 3d steering wheel. only, they have no reflections, due to the fact the steering wheel was 2d. maybe somebody knows how to shade them, or adjust some values with gp4builder. and yes, they turn with the wheel and this looks crappy, but it´s a start... i made two styles, straight and downwards.by schroeder - Grand Prix 4
where´s that diffusor ? the bgp 001 is maybe the nicest (real f1) car this season. if not YOU were starting with this shape, and it looks very promissing, i may couldn´t resist and started doing one myself this year... but now i wait until your´s is finished.... mattby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

yes...it was a quick edit... also on the second shot you can see the limitation: when turning the wheel the "elbows" are moving a little up and down, so the ends of the 3d arms are to see. maybe i have to remove the closing faces at the end and move the 2d arms a bit until the best position is found... mattby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

this is what it could look like... ok, the 2d arm is still little too big and in some camera angles it looks a little funny, but it´s much better than before. and you got the right steering-wheel movement and a better angle of upper and lower arm. maybe some more adjustments needed (with width of 2d arm). what do you think ? matt btw: this are the first ingame shots of my fw29...
