It's all in the readme: [1991mod.drivingitalia.net]by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Check to make sure you're using the correct physics file. Does it do this with the default physics and settings? Also, if you're sure you're using the correct (unedited) physics file then make sure you're not using bad magic data. There are 4 setups in the magic data. Player default dry and wet and AI dry and wet. These could be bad. Again, try default settings (circuiby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
@Mllions Glad you got it going man! @nascar Sorry nascar, never happens to me.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Ah, so that's why your name is MillionsF1 Blume was definitely supposed to be Schumacher. He even looked like him :D There was also a dead ringer for Moreno in there. Think he was driving Rigel. Actually, for the track folders, I don't think that's quite right. You should have a Tracks folder in your GP4 folder and then the structure should be something like this: Trackby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Ah, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP 2.... until now, one of my most favourite games. Nice memoriesby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Give me a pm with your e-mail JVC and I'll send you the setup I use at Monaco. It's good enough to beat the AI. By the way, you mentioned in an earlier post that softer front springs give understeer. It's actually the opposite. Softening the front springs increase weight transfer to the front of the car and reduce understeer/induce oversteer. The only way softening the frontby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
@turkey_machine Weird one there man! Are you sure you haven't edited your GP4.exe with GP4Tweaker or something? @Lasek99 Think I had this problem before. Can't really remember. Try re-installing GP4 and see how that goes. Can't hurt and it doesn't take that long either. 15 mins max.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Don't have that problem here turkey_machine. Double check your GPxPatch setting and check the number of qualifying laps.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Glad to hear you got it going turkey_machine!by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
I think they just reduce the number of polygons used for trackside objects and cars respectively. Did you try reducing the resolution? And reducing the cull values in the f1graphics.cfg file? They make a big difference. You don't want to make them too small or the cars look bad at close range.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Have you tried reducing the resolution down a notch from the one you use for the out-of-the-box graphics? Also, have you tried removing some of the advanced graphics options such as advanced lighting, advanced shadows, heat haze etc? I did this and works pretty well for me. (110% at start grid and around 80-90% during normal racing conditions with the odd slow-down here and there). Also, chby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
As for the new tracks, Interlagos, Imola, Monaco and Montreal have been updated to '91 layouts and graphics. The other tracks will be done in time. Concerning the steering wheel, please read the post dated 21/3/2007 in the following thread: ;by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
@-JVC- No idea what that could be. I've never had that problem and I don't know of anyone else having it. If you had this problem before then it suggests to me that it's something more to do with your configuration more than anything. Sorry for not being able to help.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, it's a quality clip. I always enjoy watching it Music was probably specially composed.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Try lowering the car textures from 1024x1024 to 512x512 from "the mod's configurables" in CSM. Also might be worth a try removing some of the advanced effects from GP4's graphics options.by the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
Glad so many of you like the mod so much Makes me very happy to see people happy playing it As Erik already pointed out, you will need the trackpack to include all the track DATs which are vital to the gameplay of the mod. @bob1977 Didn't have this problem in the final beta myself as far as I know so shouldn't be any different. Downloading the final version now but I'd sby the_new_mr - Grand Prix 4
