It's very important to have a clean install of GP4 to avoid missing textures, missing cars, crashes to desktop, crashes while loading tracks and other distresses.

To obtain a clean install, follow these steps:
- Install GP4 from the CDRom
- Install GP4's official patch
- Switch the gp4.exe with the decrypted version
- Install GPxPatch
- Install CSM/TSM and let it create backup files
- Install the PLUS trackpack

INSTALLATION
Install the mod by (double)clicking on the 1991.cuh file. CSM will ask you the name of the new folder for the mod, just hit OK and the mod will be installed.
Install the 1991 trackpack. TSM will ask you to overwrite existing files, click "yes" to do so.
After installation you can configure your GP4 session by clicking "the mod's configurables" button. CSM is now ready to start your session. For more info on the available options right-click on "1991" in the mods list and select "1991 Mod Documentation" or "1991 Mod Physics and Performance docs". Your internet browser will open and all additional info will become available to you.

STARTING
Once you hit the "start" button CSM will update GP4 with the files from the 1991mod. Files will be updated and swapped. When you've chosen the Full Season, 16 cars.wads will be updated. The time it takes to update GP4 depends on your hardware.
Thank you for downloading and we hope you enjoy this mod as much as we do!

Thanks to Nicola and Tony the mod is online. Visit the 1991 mod site for more details!

For maximum experience you need the trackpack. It contains graphical trackupdates but more important: the dats are an essential part of the physics and performance system.

Mod itself is very good, huge fun.

Commentary is a nice touch, but is a bit annoying after a while, especially as it bears no resemblence to whats going on - on track, the Murray and Martin soundset that came out ages ago was much more generic, much more relevant.

also disapointed in the tracks ( i thought waiting for tracks was what was holding you up :S), especially as there are several versions of tracks like Adelaide and Monza currently out there which would be closer to 91, than the ones in the track pack.

Sorry if this sounds like a negative post, its not meant to be, because i actually have hugely enjoyed playing the mod. Just wanted to make a couple of points.

Any tracks released in the track pack that were not previously available?
