Just what I was thinking.. Never thought that GP3 could look like that !!by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Very proud of this one.. One of the best I did IMO, what do you guys think..? 2000x1500by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Well, I have to experiment a lot with this new material, but the start is there. Not tweaked all values as you can see, but I got a whole lot further this last weekby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
that's freaking unbelievable Korg ! The model and reflections are perfect!by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for your help Kaid. First, you have to remember this model is more than 3 years old, and I started it with almost no skills in modeling. I learned it as I got further. The windows have stayed the same for like a year or so. Until now.. I'm getting annoyed by the distortion and want get rid of it. I already slimmed down the cuts and vertices drastically so it's a lot cleaner alreaby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Yea, and that's the look I try to get with my paint. I know it isn't the paint that looks like that on its own, it's also the environment that makes it look that way.. I have yet to figure out how to do that..? Could you maybe shed some light (almost literally lol) on how you made that studio like environment..? BTW, can you clear things up about my previous post ?? I found outby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Guys I have a question I'd like to ask. As some of you may have noticed in my previous renders of my Volvo 850, I'm having problems with the reflections of my car's windows. I have made sure that the polys of the windows are smooth. Instead of having smooth reflections, my windows are showing a LOT of distortion. If I add a Smooth modifier it smoothens the distortion which looksby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Wow.. Rendermania Cool!by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
@ FlyinFinn2 Why are those shots so dark..?by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
I'm sorry but thats FSOne 2009 v2 with new shaders.. It makes good use of the fresnel reflection effect which makes the cars look more realistic. I think that we need an updated graphicsengine though. rF1 has had it's glory IMOby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Wow, those shots are amazing. Thought I'd try something too You tink nice or you tink not nice ??by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
To much camber on the last screen lol, but the rest is pretty coolby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Damn, that's really nice. Although I think you have to fix the sharpness of the reflection of the white 'box' I think you should enable filtering of the reflection in the car material. Other then that, I like itby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
That setup looks very promising!by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4

Falk, that shot is amazing.. RBR right ? Had to mention thatby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Amazing... that's awesome! Love the look of that carby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Can you explain what you write on that page about Emac textures and normal ones? Very nice btwby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Allthough nobody is interested, I thought I'd post it anyway.. The ultimate combination of my current skills, which results in my best renders untill this moment 2000x1500 1600x1200by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
You got an answer mate Please confirm, because I don't know quiet sure..by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
That's funny you noticed, because I thought so too. Last thursday I took some time to get that right.. Those tires are pretty old and I wasn't that experienced with the modelling side of things. Hope you like this though 2000x1500by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
I would be very interested in seeing that original unedited shotby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
Absolutely NO photoshop involved here. Untouched render.. I'm pleased with it Click! 1600x1200px Critic comments or compliments are appreciatedby Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
VX110 That really looks nice.. Maybe you need a spotlight for the colors to be deeper, because I think the reflections of the colors may need to be a bit stronger.. IMO..by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak - Grand Prix 4
