Ok I managed to do something cheeky . I'm gonna post it here in case somebody has the same problem. Quick fix: 1. Turn on the 32BOBO32 UI panel (I turned on MPH - small) in CSM 2. Find the folder where the UI files are for MPH - small (F1 2010/Data/GpxPatch/pnl/hud_2010) 3. Delete everything apart from the mph_small.ini file 4. Copy the files for the UI you want instead (.ini file -ex.by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
For some reason, the GPxCInfo panel I use for other mods (it's Lo2k Counter but improved slightly) doesn't appear in-game on any camera. Other random panels I added just for testing also don't work. Only the Defpanel by Tony&Ruboy and 32BOBO32 work in-game, but they are activated from "The Mod's Configurables" in CSM. Any way to fix this or make the Panelsby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Yea, it seems like a pain to randomize them every time I want to do a non-championship race, but i guess we cant help it. :D By the way, do you happen to know what the numbers mean in the ? Melbourne = 30,0,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,3,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,3,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,3,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,1,30,3,30,1by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Hello! Is it possible to make the 2003 Qualifying order random for all tracks? I found the qualrule.ini file but i'm not quite sure how can i make so that the order of the cars going out is always random instead of the order set in the ini file (in the Tweaker GUI you are able to choose this but I use CSM for all mods including this one for 2003).by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Yes! It's called Pit Speed Limit I believe in Tweaker. If you have CSM, you need to find a file called speedlimit.ini and modify that. (as far as I remember, values are in MPH but I don't think that will bother you, since in game it will still appear translated as KPH if you prefer that) I usually make it so that cars stay more in the pits for each lap of fuel they put, but they drivby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
I suggest increasing pit stop time with Tweaker so that based on fuel put in the car, the AI or the player stays longer so they don't all try to leave at the same time. You could also make cars travel faster in the pit lane so that they get out of the way faster. ...OR you could just edit magic data for the tracks you race at to give the AI a wider pit window (like lets say 6-7 laps) forby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Yea they are trying not to cause a Belgium 98' kind of pile-up so they brake very early. You make quite a valid point with your videos and I agree with your explanation! I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I made up all those positions when the AI started braking for the first turn, I'm usually the type that gets a horrible get-off (from 0 to 100 km/h), unlike the amazing stby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
I did a test in Belgium with vanilla track and Ace AI, starting last in the Jordan (arguably 4th fastest car in 2001). I managed to go up to 8th before getting to the 1st corner hairpin. But I think this track is where this thing is most apparent. Other breaking zones are not as extreme.by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
QuoteMSchumi24 Of course yes! You can send it to me! In the end it could be fine for my 1999 Mod! I sent you a PM with the download link. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it publicly here, in case anyone else would like to use it for their own play-through. If it's alright please let me know.by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
I dont know if you've seen indycar starts / restarts after caution, but I try to do something similar at the start of the race so that I don't have an advantage compared to the AI. I keep my car at their pace for the first corner and then I speed up like everyone else.by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Sorry to bust in without waiting for an answer, I just found a very cool external wheel + gloves that looks awesome on all cars and fits really well with arm colors (I believe it's based on a Stewart 99', without any logos or brands). I'm gonna use that instead while I wait for your proper wheels in the HQ release. In any case, if you want to check them out / use them as a "plby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the reply. These look awesome! Does this also mean that I can replace the remaining teams with other stwheels found online (for 90s or early 00s mods) or will that crash the game? ( I don't mind changing the wheel shape as long as I dont have those awful gloves xD )by Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
Guys I have a bug with the driver's "gloves / hands" for all cars and teams (including AI), all of them don't have the usual gloves but instead the teal hands that look very weird with the rest of the car. ( see pics below ) I want to note that this happens only with this mod (1997 v1.5), as other mods that I use in CSM have the normal gloves that are similar to the vanillaby Kashima12 - Grand Prix 4
