Thank you! Looks great so far. Question: Does anyone know if I download the 1997 trackpack how to rearrange the order of races to match the 1998 schedule? Thanks.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Very excited to try this mod. I've been very much enjoying your 1993 one, doing a season as Badoer. Almost scored points at Donnington!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
When you click on on the error, does CSM let you load things like usual, or does it gray out all the options? If it gray's things out, I copy and paste the exe from my vanilla game folder to the folder I run CSM mods from.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Just reaching out to say thank you to all who worked on this mod. I've been having a great time playing it for a few days now.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, with GP4Central being down at the moment, does anyone know of a safe source to download the full original game from? Thanks!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Thanks all for responses. I'll tinker with the lods a bit to learn more about how all the files work, but doubt I'll put a huge amount of time in to it. A better computer is the eventual answer, for sure.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Okay, I didn't know if there was a simple solution. Thanks for your response. I'll look into my graphics cfg and resolution when I have some free time. Cheers!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
These look really nice!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
How do you run a track with just the track and not the scenery like your video on the previous page? What I mean is, can you do this with all the tracks? What about the ones that came with the original game? Looks tremendous, and my laptop needs all the help it can get to play smoothly.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I have a newbie question. If I downloaded a CSM mod that only has the liveries on lod0 cars, is there a way I can convert to make the other lods? My computer is too poor to handle lod0 only. Thanksby nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
This mod looks amazing, loving the concept. Will definitely be keeping an eye out!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Is there any advantage to installing? I downloaded the game from GP4 Central, and it says you can but don't have to. kedy89 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > only just had to reinstall it on Win7 yesterday, > works perfectly fine > > - install gp4 (best not in program files due to > possible write protection issues, I put it to > c:\gby nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
I found this post which suggests using a program to help facilitate that.. I personally use a PS3 controller without issue. Good luck!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Downloaded the 1980 mod yesterday. Incredible stuff! Mega thanks, Pedro, and jcaranti for the uploading.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
In XP my PO was 60-90 with the same laptop. Amazing difference!by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 3
If I want to start with a vanilla install and dip my toes into the modding waters, what would be a good starting point? Messing around with liveries?by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
I've had to unexpectedly be away for a few days, should have time to experiment with an XP and Win 2K partitions tomorrow. Out of curiosity, is there any way to convert mods to work in software mode?by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 3
I'm finally getting around to installing an XP partition on my laptop, will report back whether it makes a big difference or not. Using Elio's 1981 mod, HW mode, 7-800 PO on Windows 10 Preview.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 3

Just wanted to pass along that GP4 is working fine with the Windows 10 preview if anyone was considering using that.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 4
Thank you for your quick reply. I will look into using XP as a possible solution.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 3
Hi all, just discovered the grand prix series this week. I've installed the game on my laptop, but it only works decently on software graphics mode. Out of curiosity, if i were looking to get a desktop pc to play this game at max settings, what specs are necessary? Regards.by nileblackflame - Grand Prix 3
