I'll be off into holidays until August 5th.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Once again hard to find the words. Carlos might have had the pace for a podium without that spin and to Matteo the team can only apologize. It would have been some solid points, at least, without the transmission prob. Sorry, mate.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
FP was mostly luck about track position, so be it. But Carlos gave a first glance on how this track suits him this weekend. And it's great that he could prove that once again in quali. Now he just needs to make something out of it! Matteo was struggling a bit more but he's in a good position for points. So let's make this a successful race, boys!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
This damn track just hates me! FP: Brilliant by Anderson, very good by me, hope is rising. Quali: Brilliant by Matteo, very good by Carlos, hope is settling. Race: Crush da drivers, crush da boss! I'm still not over Montreal having stolen a secure victory from me that cost me the title and now it does it again. Carlos' accident was a big setback already, but then stealing Matteo's victorby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
And there's our typical issue. One car is great, the other undrivable. Carlos really got the best out of it today, Matteo visibly struggled. It's still something we won't stop looking into for the rest of the season. One good race with both cars as a goodbye gift can't be asked too much!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Pretty awesome pace for Anderson and me in the FP, decent job of the main guys in the qualifying then, but it still feels like a bit more would have been possible. Still, it's a decent enough position in the starting grid for both, and could mean a good haul of points if the race goes in our favors. Looking forward to it.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Always gonna remember our great time together, Stu. As you know, I can totally relate, though. All the best to you in the future.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Pity that Carlos gave away 6th so close to the finish line, but overall it was a good race from both drivers and an okay race for the team. Only a side note anyway in these times.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
MTP is going to retire at the end of the season After the recent announcement of Demon Racing's dropout at the end of the season, the GPGSL is shocked by another blowback. Last year's runner-up team Maverick Track Performance will join Demon Racing and take its hat at the end of the season. This is what team principal John Maverick announced to the press late tonight. "It is with bothby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
I really keep wondering when drivers learn that the chicane is the worst spot to attempt an overtake. Pity that both Matteo and Carlos suffered from this, although on both ends of the fault scale.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Yeah well, with so little boost to use over the season, it was clear that we'd suffer sometimes. Matteo still made the best out of it. But there's still a race to come and a lot can happen.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Happy New Year everybody.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
A double points finish indeed came unexpected after this horrifying qualifying. Both our drivers deserve huge credit for staying out of the trouble and making the best out of the situation. But of course Carlos is right and we sincerely hope that we found the primary issues with the car in qualifying mode.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
What a horrible, horrible weekend so far! That FP really challenges for the worst GPGSL experience I've had, probably going for 2nd right after losing a sure win in Montreal to technical issues a few seasons back, what eventually cost me the title. I also apologize to Luis for that pit lane entry crash, although it clearly hit me a lot harder than him. He stayed in the middle of the road andby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Yes, that podium for Matteo came really unexpected after the qualifying. That was a perfect drive and really the best we could hope for! Carlos also had a good pace, but I have the feeling he wanted too much in the beginning of the race and that maybe cost him a point or two. But overall, we shouldn't complain.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Yeah ... no ... the car really doesn't allow more this weekend, it seems. Matteo really did the best that was possible. Let's see, at least some points should be possible.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
It was clear that we'd have a tough weekend. Hoped for a little bit better though. The positive is that Anderson really matched my pace there. Still hoping that the big boys can get a bit more out of the car with the data we collected for them. Congrats to Stu!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

And the curse goes on! It seems it's impossible for us to bring both cars into the front positions. But in this case, it was clearly Matteo being too impatient. The lap he drove at the back of the field shows how strong his pace was and I totally understand that he didn't wanna lose time there to stay in the fight with Carlos, but this overtake attempt just couldn't work there. That's bad luck fby JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4

Now we're talking! That's what I was hoping for with the amount of boost we invested. Now we only gotta get this to the finish line. If only this damn Tobi Kederer wasn't so strong even when he isn't RDing himself! (Tobi, you know how I mean it^^))by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, not really what I expected from a double team and driver boost. Quite disappointing. At least Anderson did decently in 4th. Well done, mate. And thanks Nata for the great userbars, that cheered me up a little.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Thank you for the coverage, Tobi, and I can totally understand your wish to celebrate good results again without being questioned. As for the race, the curse goes on. It's really hard for us to get both cars into good points. And of course reliability will be a big thing for the first rounds. Apologies to Matteo that we couldn't get you a more reliable car.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Not brilliant, but decent. The good thing is that we're not totally off the pace, so we should be able to snatch some good points.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Pity I didn't quite get it together for the 2nd stint. It looks like the track provided the chance for some serious improvement. But the main thing is that the big boys get it together. BTW, it's 'Anderson' not 'Andreson' Savio.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Hey all, I'm on holiday until end of August, so I won't be able to do any helmet renders before the first week of September. Sorry for any inconveniences.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
I guess it was a logical choice for AMR to go in the joint venture, not sure if it was a smart one, though. I guess the season will tell. Overall, I love all the liveries that have been revealed. It's gonna be a hell of a good-looking season. But it's interesting to see that so far, MTP is the only team sticking with the high-nose shape!by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Thank you guys. Indeed, Anderson requested something Alpine-like and I like the current McLaren, so the livery is inspirated by a symbiosis of these two.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
Maverick Track Performance - S15 Car launch "Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for following our invitation to this season's car launch. It is amazing and sometimes still hard to believe that the GPGSL is going into its 15th season!" "It is also a special season for MTP. My condolences, too. I can only second what Mal and the others here said. You are not alone.by JohnMaverick - Grand Prix 4
