Hi! I would really love to change the LCD font color in my GP4.exe as well. I think I can do the thing madman described above, but I have 2 questions: 1. Which tool should I use to change the Binary Codes? 2. Does this change of the LCD font color change anything else in GP4, for example checksums? Don't know if this was asked befor. Would be great if you could help me. Cheersby zem1313 - Grand Prix 4
in my opinion this would be the best end to the story Indy: Kimi wins JPM takes MS out in a first corner pileup This would be Kimi 85 MS 82 JPM 79 Suzuka: JPM wins (don't ask me how this should be possible! MS second (taking it easy, cruising to his 6th WDC) Barichello third (but only until he makes a mistake with only a handful of laps to go, is offtrack temporarily andby zem1313 - F1
The titlefight isn't really influenced by the new system and the top teams would still be the top teams. The only thing that would be different with the old system is that Nick and Firman wouldn't have scored and that the private teams would be in better shape. Your point about the drivers in lower teams just helps Jaguar, BAR and Toyota, and all of them have pretty good financial backiby zem1313 - F1

Hi! I just compared the new to the old points system: driver / new / old / dif / old position Schuey / 71 / 57 / 14 / 1 JPM / 65 / 51 / 14 / 2 Kimi / 62 / 46 / 16 / 3 Ralf / 53 / 38 / 15 / 4 Rubens / 49 / 34 / 15 /5 Alonso / 44 / 26 / 18 / 7 DC / 41 / 27 / 14 / 6 Jarno / 22 / 10 / 12 / 8 Jenson / 12 / 3 / 9 / 10 Weber / 12 / 2 / 10 / 12 Fisi / 10 / 10 / 0 / 8 da Matta / 8 / 2 / 6 / 12 H.H. / 7by zem1313 - F1
I am not too sure about your bets. I expect a big bang in the new first corner, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was JPMs turn this time. I hope that Kimi gets through this time. I say JPM and Alonso are out in the first corner, Schuey is also involved but, as always, he will be lucky and can crawl back to the pits. 1. Kimi 2. Ralf 3. DC 4. Rubens 5. Trulli 6. Schuey 7. da Mattaby zem1313 - F1

I know that he is cool. I agree 100% with you. I don't know the reasons for the sack neither, but I can imagine that his straigthness and the way he says things could be something people at an american/english team can't cope with. But i really don't understand this part from your post: I normally don't cry if it's about chasing the Austrians back to their caves (Mika,by zem1313 - F1
The problem with the A1 ring is the same as with Spa - politics! The kick Spa this year and the only reason why A1 is still in is the early May slot. The current track is funny to drive and normally produces exciting races, but after all it is just a bigger Kart track and that's it. Anyways, as i said befor, Bernie isn't interested in it, so that's it. Now Austria has kicked itseby zem1313 - F1
I think the biggest problem Ralf has at the moment is that his current team mate is beating him constantly. He, like is older bro, needs to be number one and he needs a team that gives him the feeling of being number one. Mindstrength is not a thing the Schumacher bros have plenty of. Michael has a contract to solve this problem, Ralf will never have such a contract. But, I am pretty sure, thatby zem1313 - F1
JPM is better! But if Ralf really makes the switch to Toyota I bet he will outperform JPM in coming years! Post Edited (03-28-03 14:12)by zem1313 - F1
Hi again! Well, i doubt that they would have build a 100% standard ovaltrack, more an austrian version of it. Anyways, austrian television had Bernie on the phone yesterday and he said that he is sorry for dropping austria and that there is no plan to bring it back in 2005, the current track or a new designed one. So, it seems like it just was blabladibla. We will see what red bull wiby zem1313 - F1
Hi! Don't know if this is really true, since it wasn't in the international media. Yesterday there was an interview on austrian television with the Red Bull Boss who has recently bought the A1Ring from Styria. He said that he is planning to rebuild the A1ring. It should/will become an Indy-type Oval track, including some parts (maybe the 2 straights) of the current track. Apart from tby zem1313 - F1
Hi! Have been off the GP4 shot for quite a while, but the 2 McLaren wins are heating my racing blood again! Anyways, don't know if this is already answered somewhere else, can we already alter sounds and pitgrafix (not pitcrew) in GP4? And if so, with what tool should i do it? Thanx a lot! From my point of view just making the cars wider wont do the job. Why not change the whole package? wider cars, wings with almost no effect, slicks, away with electronic gizmos, ... would produce good overtaking cause of the slipstream, loads of grip in slower corners cause of the wideness and aweseome action in fast corners cause of missing/extremely little wing-downforceby zem1313 - F1
Hi! Haven't seen the shanghai track yet. Do you have a link to a trackmap Ellis? thxby zem1313 - F1
I think Mr. Tilke does his job pretty good and Sepang is the best prove for it, but is it really necessary that he does ALL new venues? Here is a link to a Bahrain Track Map and i think that now it is enough of Tilke tracks:by zem1313 - F1
Can't believe it! This is the buggiest, crappiest, @#$%& damned easiest to drive GP i have ever seen! You can feel the dumb stupid console atmosphere everywhere and there is only one reason why the PC version was released early, cause it is easier to give your hardcore PC fans a patch than anger the guy with the money! ah, come on JPM is a reckless driver There are two types of reckless driver. There is the one who takes no prisoners. Senna is one who springs to mind. Michael Schumacher is another. They are right on the edge, balancing between success and disaster. Yet they are in control. They know what they're doing. The other reckless driver is one who is confident, yet does not have full control of thby zem1313 - F1
well you are right! most of you at least. and exactly that is the sad thing. aren't you able to see the break in the GP series since Hasbro took over, some month befor GP3 was released? I don't know since when you are playing Geoffs F1 games. I started back in the old days with F1GP. it was fabulous!!! you could feel the different approach the dev team had, it was something different. Sby zem1313 - Grand Prix 4

well well if you put all the things about GP4 on this forum into a box you'll get a huge piece of @!#$, from point of view at least This isn't a real 4th version of GP, but it is the 2nd version of "Watching unreal realistic GP races on the PC". Well, really hope that a safety car is included, but apart from really big shunts, where the safety car could have amjor influence on strategy and stuff, i think that a safety car is just a make up thing like animated pit crew. I hope that there are more people out there who are longing for really important new features like: - realistic fuel capacities !!!!!!!!!!!!! PLease!!!! - realisitc tyre cby zem1313 - Grand Prix 4
