Thanks Holemad.
But if i use the original carshape, the track is ok.
But i'll test and let you know.

Grand Prix 3 Hi guys.
I have this problem: in Adelaide (i have a 1994 version) every carshape i use makes the game CTD: it is enough to follow a CC, or a contact...
Anyone has this problem too? I have it only with this specific track.
Any solution (apart from using the original 98 carshape...)?
Thanks.

Grand Prix 3 Sometimes CTD is related to missing jiip file...
About kerbing, i don't know why but sometimes we miss some piece of kerb. But the command Kerb begin/lenght solves it.
By the way, i have edited a personal Detroit, but Ettore's one is much better, expecially in the descent to tunnel, now it looks like Detroit, before it looked like a piece of Monaco brought to Detroit

Grand Prix 3 Great job!
I tested Detroit, and it is veeeeeeeery good detailed.
I noticed you miss a bit of the right kerb in the last chicane; insert this command in sector 240:
0x8f (143) right kerb begin/lenght
a1: 0
a2: 0
a3: 15
and you'll have the whole kerb.

Grand Prix 3 Roberto Scandura made a great Track Editing Tutorial.
Relly great. I learnt a lot from that tutorial.
And there is a Magic Data Tutorial as well.
You found them.
You study them and you will have the knowledge

Grand Prix 3 Hi guys.
Anyone knows what was the top speed in Zandvoort in the 80s?
I mean, it's a high speed track, i think at least 300/320 kmh on the main straight...
Happy new year to all fo you!

Grand Prix 3 Bad news.
If the problem is a too short pit lane, i can't help you, sorry.

Grand Prix 3 Usually it is a problem related to MD file.
There are 2 values to edit to have the CCs entering and exiting the pits:
- Sectors to pit in 1 (enter)
- Sectors to pit in 2 (exit)
So you have to edit the second value, find a good value to have the CCs exiting the pit without problems.
Then you re-insert tje MD into the dat file.
This works both for Gp3 1.13 and 2k.

Grand Prix 3 @shlund: i tried that fix, didn't work for me.
But i think it's a problem related to PC configuration (video card), so every PC a different issue.

Grand Prix 3 The only trouble i have with Win7 is Gp3 asks me to calibrate graphic each time.
I say NO! and play.

Grand Prix 3 Hi.
If you mean to save a lap and replay it and watch it, many have the same problem. Me too. I don't know why.
Maybe a problem of the decripted exe file.
But i've never been able to watch a saved lap.

Grand Prix 3 Hi.
Maybe tell us what you need, so we can help you.
For what i know, there is no a downloadable manual on the web.
But, really, the manul tells only a few basic informations: the same you can get by pointing the mouse on many menus, even the car setup menu during a session.

Grand Prix 3 Air resistance: if you increase it, you get higher top speed. It affects both human and CC. This is sure. Tested.
If you decrease the value, you get slower top speed. So yes, it affects top speed, it is useful to have higher speed without using a very low rear wing value.
But as it affects human and CC, you can't use it to balance top speed.
So, if you increase the value, you have a highe

Grand Prix 3 @EricMoinet: yes dear, you are allowed to say it sounds obvious
I was just reporting my experience: never lost the cc-line moving or changing objects/texture.

Grand Prix 3 For what i know only working on the cc-line itself or on the track layout could alter the cc-line.
I mean, if you move objects, change jams...you are altering the dat file but not the cc-line.
Anyway, what i meant was: be sure we will have a good layout and a good cc-line, otherwise the track is not playable.
If the cc-line must be done at the end, no problem, it is important to have a cc-line
