Here's how you do it: *Import the car into ZModeler (first open and save the car with GP4Builder) *hide all the objects and unhide rear_light_on *now move your mouse to the rear_light_on object and write down the Y and Z values: *Open rearlight.ini from the gp4tweak_data folder *fill in these values: *Open gp4tweak.ini and check if AmbientPos is set to 1by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Good to know the mod finally works for you in full colours! Building new tracks is very time consuming. Especially when it's a street circuit with a lot of buildings close to the trackby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
You have to do it yourself mate. It all depends on which cars you use. For the gp2 cars you should use these: 0.0000, -0.1100, -2.4280 With the old gp4tweaker you could adjust the settings ingame. With the gp4tweaker reloaded you can't. You can open the car in ZModeler and move the mouse in left or right view to the position of the rear light. Then you can read the values from the statuby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Very nice cars guys. Well done!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Yes, that's how it works. You don't need to run CSM for that.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Fantastic! Looking forward to the mod and its tracks.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Go to Start-Run (Uitvoeren), type: "regedit" and hit OK. That's the registry-editor. Ctrl+F, fill in "Zaz" and check all the boxes. Delete all the folders and keys you find (press F3 after each removal to restart the search) and close the editor. The temp folder, actually it's the backup folder, is the one that the error tells you. In your case: Gpsaves\carsets\baby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
jbnd05 is right. This happens when you shut down during loading tracks. Push the N button down until it stops. Check the track.wad and empty that temp folder. I uninstalled Zaz tools, removed the program folder and the registry keys. Then I reinstalled Zaz tools. All the error messages were gone except for a language error. Please try what I did, it may help you.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
The "click to select" sometimes disables itself. I don't know why as it's pretty random. I closing gp4builder and restarting always helps.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Check out the ini files that come with the latest tweaker. I think it's called "helmet movement".by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
The 3d steering wheel is part of the helmet. It works in conjunction with gp4tweaker.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Download the 1995 mod and it's trackpack at gp4db.com. There's no separate download yet as the track isn't finished yet. Plodekk, I'm not sure what you mean.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Looks very acurate! Great job both of you.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
I can't get the trackdatabase to work properly. I'm sure I'm missing something here. I choose "create .dat debug list" and select "real Z position" and save it as a txt file. When I open it I see all sectors and their Z positions. Do I have to manually add the TPOS and the 4 digit numbers? I tried that but all I got was this error: ---------------------------by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Very nice mate. I like these old tracklayouts. I would love to have Monza without the chicanes as well!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
I've added the Fixes-Updates list to the first post. The Barcelona track will be released once the magic data is sorted out.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
You seem to be missing the 1991 trackpack. You should at least have folders called Phoenix, Mexico City, Estoril and Adelaide... Download the update and install both files.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Steven, I added the mirror. Thanks to Tony it's now available at gp4db.com.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4

Millions, That sounds right. Please check wether you have the tracks\barcelona\PLUS folder that contains barcelona2001.wad. If you haven't, then you have to (re)install the standard PLUS pack. Plodekk, No one is working on it I think.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
You're right. I forgot that notepad doesn't save all the data. I use Notepad++, which is more friendlier than a Hex editor.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
True, I'm hopeless without itby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Nice to see you've improved your skills a lot. Keep it up!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
It's stored in the fonts folder. The .uni files contain the strings of text, the .pos files the position of these strings. You can open both these files in notepad.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
It all depends on what you want to do with it. In my opinion PS is far better when working with photo's, PSP is far better when creating graphics. Just give the trials a try and then decide which works best for you. The GIMP is a good alternative from what I seen and heard. I couldn't find my way in the GIMP...by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
MillionsF1, it seems like CSM/TSM can't find your tracks folder. Could you check your "C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4" folder to see if there's a folder called "tracks".by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
