Thanks for these tracks! Could anyone advise how I could get these working without TSM? (If it's possible). Think I'm missing a step here, or maybe in the wrong slot or something. Thanks!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
From someone who first used GPxPatch in college days (which seems like a lifetime ago), and still using it to this day - I say thank youby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Have you changed the very top line to value: 1 first? "f1graphics.cfg controls all settings"by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks a lot for these great loading screens Glenn. Darylby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Hi Nick, I had the same question as this. Another user helped me, and told me to change the "bump map track" value to 0 in f1graphics.cfg file. It's line 39 in my .cfg file if that helps. This changed my surface texture on Paul Ricard to the same as the screenshots shown hereby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Great video and race once again!! I'd never seen that unusual event happen before in the game! (No spoiler from me!)by senna_fan_1983 - Other Games

Can only assume that was meant as a reminder to how old this game is, and that my question was asking a lot for a game that old. But with everything people have made to benefit this great game, and keep it going untiby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
For anyone that hasn't watched these videos, they're a great watch! The commentary through the race about the game/circuit etc is excellent - ended up watching the whole of Monaco! (Ted Meat - I am "Daryl Lewis" who's commented on some of your YouTube races).by senna_fan_1983 - Other Games
I'll play about with those options Tommy, thanksby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Yup that's exactly it! Oh well - I thought it might be impossible, seems like it is. I'm sure I saw somewhere that perhaps extending pit stop times for more major issues could be a possibility though.by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I wondered if there was any way to have a forced retirement if the human player loses a wheel in the race. Or alternative ideas to make the AI represent what you can do with a human controlled car. I noticed that the AI will always retire when down to 3 wheels, as well as puncture / suspension failure etc. At the moment I can easily make it back to the pits on 3 wheels, and get thby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Just watched your race 1 at Phoenix (intermittently whilst working!). Good work with the uploads! If I can make a suggestion, after you retire in a race (apologies for Race 1 spoiler!), view the rest of the race in real time instead of accelerated time. When I saw you had 50 laps to go but only 5 mins of video left, I knew you were about to bite the wallby senna_fan_1983 - Other Games
That worked exactly as you said Neil, thanks very much indeed.by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, hoping someone could help me in regards to changing the tarmac textures. I have changed them (.tex file) within the individual track WADS and also in the MAPS/RESOURCES folder, but in the game I still only ever seem to have a light grey track. I believe the original game texture. Is it something within the f1graphics.cfg that I'd need to change first? Any help appreciatedby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Loving the track - thanks a lotby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks so much Glenn, love your work as always. Hope you're keeping well.by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
I have... download links are dead Try it and and see! Thanks anyway.by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Thanks so much for your reply pirx - but unfortunately I had those links and they're dead Appreciate your warning on the smooth framerate!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Did anyone happen to have the utility: "Grand Prix 3 FPS Editor by Matti Laitinen"... I'm aware it can cause the AI to crash into each other but keen to see how the game looks on higher fps. Looked all over the net and can't find a working link anywhere! Thanks allby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
I was just using the Wayback Machine archive tool, and managed to find a few saved snapshots of Grand Prix 3 sites I used "back in the day". Anyone remember these pages? Reminds me of my school days when I spend so much of my revision time on these sites! Hope this is ok to post on here - purely nostalgia purposes!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Great fun this track!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
I'll have a read of this pippozzo, thank you.by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
This is going to be a bit of an obscure question, so it's unlikely anyone has accomplished this - but here goes. I run GP3 in an XP Oracle VM VirtualBox, which suits me (work laptop). It runs absolutely perfectly, 10% PO etc. However I'm looking to enable HW mode, instead of SW, so I can use GPxPatch. After already looking on the VirtualBox forums I couldn't find a way toby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Did you manage to get the updates installed all OK skateaway? I'm no expert, but I'd gladly give you some help if needed, seeing as you asked so politely! Thanks for those files and links SuperCim. Don't play GP3 much these days as back on GP4. But I did install these and enjoyed watching some AI racing with this 2018 GP3 mod!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Thank you, been messing about with this a little. Getting a lot closer now! Seem to have it working for GP3, but if I start it through GPxPatch, it's back to fullscreen. Ah well!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Couldn't get that to work Pippozzo, but thanks anyway!!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Apologies for bumping an 8 year old thread, but does anyone know if this can be achieved? Thanks!by senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 3
Great shout, 7 works perfectly. Thanks very muchby senna_fan_1983 - Grand Prix 4
