Hey back off dudes!!! 1) zem is usually a nice guy. Yeah so maybe he slipped up here, but thats no reason to jump him. Give the dude a brake, and realize that it might you next time someone slips up in public. 2) Cut the harsh language! That is clearly out of line! 3) And usually threads do not get deleted here! Argh, that THING actually hurts my eyes! It should have been killed at its conception! As to the safety claims, I am pretty sure that if we counted the average amount of F1 miles driven per fatality or injury, I am pretty sure that we would find that it would be safer to be in a F1 context than your everyday traffic. Just think of the huge amount of miles driven every year in races, qualifying,by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Just a small warning and summary. It is 1.06 minutes long and 26.5 megs in size, but then again it can be run in full screen with significant detail loss. You can see how a lot of things have taken shape in the game. And yes the pitcrews move (you see a williams crew packing up, and going back into the garage, while a Ferrari passes through the pits), and you see the new setup screens, race actby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
There is a list over the official minimum and recommended requirements for somewhere on this jungle. I think its the gp4 forum. But lets calm down, and save the panic for the days just before the release date. Even if GP3 was way off the listed specs, GP4 might just be require what is listed.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Even if you can only play CS against bots, it is a extremely good game. It will be well worth the efforts. I still play CS on average once a day, going on since beta 6.x. Mostly against bots, because the cheating is so big a problem. I played online the other day on a cheat monitored server. 3 dudes caught, kicked, banned and hanged out in public in 2 hours. Not to worry, Marko. A slightly misguided vigilance, is better than non at all.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Slightly offtopic: I wonder why you would need the help public of a public forum to solve that problem. I mean with the cash that Maclaren-Mercedes are paying you, you should be able to hire someone to figure it out for you Anyway maybe someone has a solution, or at least I hope so. Time will tell. All that I know is that I do not know it. I just wanted to say hello.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
WSC got canned? Damn! I guess that explains why their homepage died *sigh*.by Morbid - Grand Prix 4
Hey, what about Webber? He has already done better in his first weekend than the combined efforts of the all the Minardi drivers have in 7 years(including Fisichella, Trulli, and Ferrari testdriver Badoer), and he did it in a car that was exhibiting major malfunctioning! (* Whispers *): Okay he got a little help from Ralf Schumacher, but it was by no means a give away.by Morbid - F1
Yeah go for the PC! While the X-box might look attractive now, it has very limited use and flexibilty, and will be outdated just as fast as a PC. Besides, you will dish out all the $$$ you saved, on overpriced non-patchable, non-moddable, not compatable with anything - games. If you do not get any useful information, it is because the posts zcott are thinking of are in the archive (or Archiv). There is a link to it at the buttom of this page.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
1) Keep the pedals set to seperate. Make sure that your wheel is set to ID 1 within the Sidewinder Software (gaming options --> controller IDs). GP3 gets annoyed when controllers are set to other ID settings. At the same screen make sure that "Poll with interrupts" is unchecked. 2) Test if the brake pedal works within the Sidewinder Software (gaming options --> controllers -->by Morbid - Grand Prix 3

LoL, if forgot to remove my own detailmap=1 setting! Sorry. I hope it was not too confusing. The cards.txt should have been like this. Original: bilinear=1 loresclouds=0 detailmap=1 Changed: bilinear=1 loresclouds=0 detailmap=0by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
I don't think you need a patch Dario Andrade. Try this instead. Open your cards.txt file in the GP3 folder. Your cards.txt might look something like this: bilinear=1 loresclouds=0 detailmap=1 Add the following line, under the card your are using. detailmap=0 Don't add anything else! Your cards.txt will be different from mine, and it supposed be that way! So when you are finisby Morbid - Grand Prix 3

Temper, temper... We don't want any fist fights or barroom brawls. Such things do happen, but they are considered "unfortunate", and are generally disregarded once they are over. That is, unless you are playing the jokes with yourself in the punchline. Otherwise we would do nothing but claw and bite at each other. Most people are actually not here to harm other people, regardlessby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Yes there is a license problem. For some reason, FIA have not sold the rights for any online playability to the GP series. But it might happen that someone in the community will "fix" that. If you want the GP3-2k default setups back, try and deselecting your driver (so you have NONE selected), and start a non-champ race. Let it finish (preferable in accelerated time). When it is over reselect you preferred driver and start a pratice session. Immediately switch to car setup, and Lo and Behold!, the deault setups are back. At least this works for me.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
I have not seen one yet. I am pretty sure that they will continue to use the old site that houses GP3, GP3-2k and Grand Prix World.by Morbid - Grand Prix 4

Cool it Zem... You might be right about several of your points, but launching this thread, like it was a nuclear war is a really bad idea. You are pushing people away that might agree with some of the things that you say, because you are almost bursting with anger/bitterness/disappointment. And the exaggerations are not helping either: Quote: "the most wished feature has been realistic weaby Morbid - Grand Prix 4
The CD should have come with your wheel. Do NOT use the sidewinder software from the microsoft homepage, if you have a USB wheel. It is an older version (I guess M$ cannot be arsed to publish the newest stuff!), and DOES not support USB. It is better that you contact your local retailer and demand a copy of the CD.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
