All that I wish is rain. we had almost nothing of rain during a race this year, and raining in Brazil produces very exciting races where only half of the grid finishes, would be amazing to have a Lotus in the points.by Frantic - F1
well, there wasnt even showing yellow flags at falaschi accident. may we have to look why safety in Argentina racing is ages away of today standards instead of why did the crash happenby Frantic - Other Motorsports
the thing in Argentina is that the series where Falaschi died are ages away of modern motorsport. Yes, they reach 240 km/h and drivers have a lot of safety things but their chasis are modified Ford Falcons, Chevrolet Nova, Renault Torino and Dodge 1500... They want to mantain tradition but thats too much. And the track safety is awful here. Theres not even grass in a lot of tracksby Frantic - Other Motorsports

the problem with enclosing cockpits its that in case of an accident with fire involved it makes much more difficult getting out of the car for the driver. needless to say nothing if the driver is unconsciousby Frantic - F1

To spice this racing up we need more retirements and stuff I agree with that, since FIA prohibited touching the cars between saturdays and sundays and with the engine freeze the grid is way too reliable... anyway i think that reliability will be over (at least for a year o two) in 2013 when turbo engines will be hitting the track (it would be awesome if we go back to the times when only 10 orby Frantic - F1
epic race. great drive from button (with 6 pitstops!! has any other driver won a race with 6 stops? senna in donnington 93 made 5 i think), ms showed he is still ms, koba was awesome and made all he could have done with that sauber (what a pity massa overtook him in the last metre)... shame for heidfeld, he was so unlucky with his front wing.by Frantic - F1
he felt dizzy during FP1 so De La Rosa is taking his placeby Frantic - F1
the rain of today and how the engineers said to the drivers to save tyres makes me think what would happen if it rains a whole weekend with the current limitation of wet tyres sets?by Frantic - F1

look, the magnets put in the floor in the car are easy adjustable with a screwdriver. but be careful because if you remove them completely depending the weight of your car it will get off the too often to be funnyby Frantic - Off-Topic

i really doubt they qualify for the raceby Frantic - F1
It doesent look good for McLaren... the good thing is that Lewis (who already stated he wont leave Macca (source here) is going to run faster than his car and he will give us a lot of fun :P in other order of things, looks like Lotus name issue will be finished in the few next days... today the 2 teams are meeting at the london high court. clicky! personally, I think bigger numbers placed in the engine cover would be great, but not having a driver with the same number all his career... i would keep the current system to number the cars, or even go back to the old days when the teams had the same numbers assigned unless they have become WCC (in that case, they would trade numbers with the teams that had got numbers 1 and 2 in tby Frantic - F1
im putting special attention on how each drivers will adapt to pirellis in race... is a significant change a think... JV career was destroyed when grooved tyres were introduced... im sure this thires will suit better massa and hedfield style than sutils for exampleby Frantic - F1
but how then Hill lost the championship only for 1 point at the end of the year? Senna would have beaten Benetton, and Williams from the 3rd race was up to the Benneton´s speed (senna was 1st when he crashed )by Frantic - F1
i think the solution is better circuits with fast curves instead DRS... and yes, most of drivers are drama queens , in the 70s when you get in the car you didnt know if you will get back to the pits anytime and hardly any driver complained about it... and the drivers had more charisma than now (i just remembered an F2 race in Nordschleife 1980, markus winkelhock´s car flipped and destroyed, hby Frantic - F1
and... What if Stefan Bellof wasnt killed in the 1000 km of Spa in 1985? he had a precontract to join Ferrari in 1986... also Ronnie Peterson was going to drive a McLaren in 1979... and I learned somewhere that in 1976, with Lauda still recovering from his accident, Reutemann signed for the rest of 76 and 77, and Regazzoni leaving Ferrari at the end of the year, Enzo Ferrari had offered Petersoby Frantic - F1

gpupdate says that Barhain would become round 18th between India Gp and Abu Dhabi Gp. source here if that happens i think it would remain there for next year, as it happened with Spa-Francorchamps, former 3rd round of the season and changed to 11th/12th in 1985 due to surface breaking upby Frantic - F1
also, protestors are putting pressure on Bahrain´s Prince to halt the race. Click here! I think it is going to be cancelled, there are too many problems to host the race there. i saw today some videos on youtube that show the police killing protestors with automatic weapons (too shocking to show them in a family forum)by Frantic - F1
The McLaren sidepods makes me remind the 1996 Ferrari because the uglyness Well, seems that Rosberg time was set with a similar configuration to Petrov´s time, so, Renault and Mercedes have moreless the same qualifying performances... or Renaults better than Mercedes and appears 2 thenths behind them because its Petrov Also, Team Lotus seems to be improving, Trulli destroyed the other onby Frantic - F1

comparing F10, F60 and F150, im amazed how the body shapes in the F10 are different to the f150, and how the F150 looks similar to the F60. I think the F10 differs from the other 2 cars due to the double diffuserby Frantic - F1
