But I thought the general consensus was that although they do aid cooling, they are predominantly used as they increase the cars aero efficiency - Surely something that could be of use on the front wheels also....?by **Taylor** - F1
I didn't mean on the Spyker - I meant the other teams, most obviously Ferrari - and why they only run their 'brake cooling' systems on the rear wheels, and not the fronts too...??by **Taylor** - F1
And that's pre-season Sniper - So I guess it is just used when the car is in the pits..... Oh well - Case closed I suppose. The thought was nice though..... Why is it that they're only used on the rears anyway..? Aerodynamics...?by **Taylor** - F1

I can't find any other pics of it on any other sites either - If anyone does then feel free to post a pic - It looks like Spyker's take on the Ferrari pioneered brake cooling system for it's rears - Although the Spyker has it on the fronts...by **Taylor** - F1

I feel a bit of 'personal' support for Lewis Hamilton - My brother used to go out with (Manor Motorsport) John Booth's daughter back when Lewis was in Euro F3 driving for Manor - He stayed at their house alot & I met him a few times. Once a few of us went down into Rotherham for a night out with him. I think it was a bit of a shock for him..! We'd only been out for aboutby **Taylor** - F1

Well I originally said to try Type 'steering wheel' into the Quick Search facility & it comes up with loads from all seasons - Not many for 2007 though - Maybe more for 2006 - You can also refine your search to make it more specific. I hope it helps...!by **Taylor** - F1

I don't mind the white lines - I definitely prefer them to the white dots we had in Melbourne, but from a purely cosmetic point of view i'd prefer if the white grooves were in the two middle grooves or the two outer grooves to make it look a bit more....erm balanced I suppose. I think F1/Bernie should just swallow their pride and go the Champcar route, just with white sidewalls insteby **Taylor** - F1
