I agree Gav, it's nice to see a car with a new colour, but I'm not a fan of the way they've done it. The shade of pink itself is a really nice colour but I don't like the lines they've put on there. It would look way better if it was pure pink with no 'go faster stripes', imo. Also, about the wheelbase - I know people have said for years that the cars are getby flat tyre - F1

Funnily enough, "cautiously optimistic" were the very two words I was going to use, but the more I read about the whole situation the more confident I feel about it. There have been some very positive plans put forward, and they have put all the cornerstones in place. Liberty would be in for some seriously negative press if they changed their tune now, and that would benefit nobody whaby flat tyre - F1

Ever since qualifying finished yesterday, I've been been thinking - imagine if both Mercedes drivers had terrible starts and fell to 11th and 12th on the first lap. I know it's never going to happen, but the panic it would cause amongst the fans and the commentators would be hilarious. As we all know by now - if Rosberg hopes to win the championship today, he HAS to win, with Hamilton finishing 10th or lower. No matter the outcome, I can't shake the feeling that today is when the championship is decided. Wow, am I looking forward to this. And what better place than Mexico! Regards Hamilton - I remember people talking this way about other drivers such as Eddie Irvine and Nelson Piquet. But it's weird, because I felt like I could accept them somehow - I loved their rebellious steak. But Hamilton just goes too far for me. It's a shame. I'm the first to admit that he's a phenomenal racer, but it almost feels like his personality has become more tby flat tyre - F1

Regarding Magnussen's accident - I know it's obviously not the real thing, but it struck me how incredibly similar it was to many accidents we had on the simulator at Eau Rouge, usually by rookie drivers. I imagine mitadumapaga would have seen it, too. It's something about Eau Rouge that I never appreciated until using the sim myself - that 90% of it's difficulty is in keepingby flat tyre - F1

First of all, please tell me if I'm being unreasonable here - the last thing I want to do is turn into a typical fanboy. But... I am absolutely LIVID following this race. I guess my sig and avatar make no secret of the fact that I support Rosberg. I think, today, what Rosberg did was a dirty move and I 100% support the penalty - this is the kind of thing that ruins racing in the modern era aby flat tyre - F1

Topic title says it all really - I haven't done sim racing since about 2008, and I'm completely out of touch with what people do now. What sims do people use today? Which ones have a decent online community? It probably doesn't help that I only have a cheap computer (I've always begrudged spending a lot of money on these!), so at the minute I can only really play the older oneby flat tyre - Other Games

Same for me, Gav, only this morning I realised that it followed the old track. It was a bit of a "durr, you stupid fool for not realising" moment! If anything, I reckon that chicane will be similar to the ones we had at Mangy Cours (and they were fantastic, I thought). I think this is the race where we see if Red Bull can mount a serious challenge to Mercedes for the rest of the year. It's the same old story - brilliant chassis, questionable engine, and Canada being an engine track. I imagine some teams, like Renault, will be starting to turn their back on 2016 and begin looking at next year's car. Heck, I'd be doing that already if I was in charby flat tyre - F1

Nice to know that you all think it's a decent looking car - I wondered if people wouldn't like it, simply because it was different. BUT, now that the head protection seems to be a certainty for 2017, I think we can say that the cars next year will look drastically different to this. Even though I'm a Rosberg fan, I was genuinely happy for Hamilton today - his pole must've felt oh so sweet. You've got to wonder if this is the moment that he lights his fire again. If he can stay in the lead without making any silly mistakes (I think he's prone to desperate overdriving) then maybe Rosberg will have a proper fight for the title after all. Ferrari? I can see both sides of the argument here. Kvyat has been decent enough (although I've had the feeling he has a tendancy to overdrive the car) yet I can't help but believe that Verstappen is a higher tier driver. If this was the beginning of the season, and I could only sign one of these two, I'd pick Verstappen in a heartbeat, but replacing Kvyat mid-season when it has barely evenby flat tyre - F1

Back before the 2009 regulation changes, I used my limited photoshopping skills to edit a 2008 car and predict what the 2009 cars might look like. It turned out to be somewhat accurate. Now, I'm trying the same thing with the 2017 changes - will I even be anywhere close this time?! I spent a good couple of hours last night mucking about with this picture , and ended up with this. I had a wonderful surprise today I was out Christmas shopping and something told me to go in this shop I'd never been in before. It just so happened that they had this for sale by the till for £20!! I just hope that Alonso does return this weekend, because I think that would be the one thing I'd most look forward to seeing - just what level can he take that dog of a McLaren to? And how does Button compare to him? Apart from that... Can Sauber again pull a good result? They seemed very fast down the straights - and there's plenty of those here in Malaysia. The more I think about it, I think they should abolish it, too. Cars today are supposedly not so physically difficult to drive, so clearly fitness shouldn't be a problem! Besides, there's something special about watching a sporting event and having it go way past it's expected finishing time, for whatever reason. You feel like you're watching a part of history.
