Subjective objectivity Whether or not they've underperformed doesn't make much of a difference, cos Mercedes spent most of the season racing pretty much all alone as the 4th best team on the grid (in terms of points at least), with no one to realistically catch or fend off. Qualifying was the only thing that made it a bit more interesting for them if they were to mess it up, which mby LeeBeau - F1
Loving it, wishful thinking but I hope they can provide a car that would be able to match the mercs at least. So, if Maldonado's out, who will replace him? Any news on Bottas? He showed great potential testing in Abu Dhabi last week.by LeeBeau - F1

I just don't see it happening from either party's side, he's fine in Macca and Ferrari has a vast pool of promising young drivers to choose from to accompany Alonso. Button's found brilliant form and confidence as well, I guess. I'm not a fan of any particular driver but I'd definitely like to see him fighting for (and winning) another driver's title. I only saw one move by MS before the lesmos that could've cost him and Hamilton the race and that was very dangerous, other times i thought Lewis could've done a lot better job at positioning his car (+the hopeless move he tried in curva grande showed he's lost the mental edge imo).
