Yes, what a fine racer Vettel is, mugging a teammate who'd turned the engine down! I can't deal with all this 'true champion' lark. Anyone who buys into it is likely to be saying soon that a 'true champion' would have had a bit of foresight when it comes to the consequences of putting one over on your teammate in such a brutal way.by jbnd05 - F1
The way that Ross spoke after the race to Sky seemed to suggest that both cars had fuel issues. It does make sense, given that he put it down to underestimating the pace. Why would the two cars be fuelled differently, given that they were in fairly close grid positions? Both cars were setting a similar pace too, with Nico perhaps even hotter than Lewis. Anyway, both drivers seem to be handling itby jbnd05 - F1
It's just a Petronas sub-brand.by jbnd05 - F1
Kimi was so rude to Lee in his pre-qualy interview, it was ridiculous. I'm not sure why he has such a following.by jbnd05 - F1
Relieving race as a Hamilton fan. I don't think we can really draw many conclusions overall from today, and I doubt Malaysia will help.by jbnd05 - F1
Very disappointed in the Sutil appointment. What has he got to give that we haven't already seen? It's hard enough for new people to get on the grid with funding issues and drivers hanging around for longer careers, and it felt like Sutil's own career came to a natural end when he glassed someone.by jbnd05 - F1
The only difference between Lewis and Fernando this year was the latter's hype. If Lewis had been in the narrative more towards the end of the season (and he wasn't through no fault of his own) then more people would be rating him highly/highest.by jbnd05 - F1
Oof. In a not too distant parallel universe, Lewis Hamilton won this championship by a country mile...by jbnd05 - F1
I definitely think there's a difference. People were put at risk, which is totally inappropriate.by jbnd05 - F1
Nah, apparently Jenson never followed Lewis in the first place. Well it's been an exciting day so far! I knew Perez would go to McLaren if Lewis left. If he improves his one lap place he'll be effective team leader, whereas at Ferrari he would have been playing second fiddle until 2016 or whenever. Ferrari were stupid to let him go, and their old-fashioned way of thinking has cost tby jbnd05 - F1
How can you say Valencia was Lewis' fault? Pastor vaulted his car into him, despite the fact that if he waited just a corner or two longer he would have passed safely. Alonso hasn't been let down by his pit crew numerous times; and though the Ferrari hasn't been the fastest car in the dry at any point (though it's never been quite the dog everyone made out), it's been a gby jbnd05 - F1
I can't believe Massa had the cheek to be indignant about Senna. What Massa did wasn't illegal, but I really felt that he played too fast and loose with the boundaries of the track. Imo his move shouldn't be getting the celebration it does. Obviously as a Hamilton fan this weekend was hugely disappointing. I can't believe what awful luck he's had this year. He'sby jbnd05 - F1
I don't like the Sky buildup and post race. It's way too drawn out and the personalities aren't as good. I actually find EJ quite funny to be honest too. On another note, I didn't really like the use of team orders. I know it's legal, and that Massa probably would have let Fernando by or been passed anyway. Still, at least the old rule protected the second driver, andby jbnd05 - F1
On the other hand, Maldonado clearly intended to run Lewis off the road last year, whereas Grosjean's crash this year appeared to be carelessness more than anything.by jbnd05 - F1
I approve of the ban, but it just highlights how utterly ridiculous it was that Maldonado didn't get one for his deliberate and dangerous actions in Spa last year.by jbnd05 - F1
Hugely entertaining to watch Lewis mixing it up at the front while a lap down. Both Caterhams letting him through because they thought he was a lap ahead was particularly hilarious. I'm slightly disappointed that Jenson still couldn't pull it off even with Lewis' help. the season's quickest pitstop (?) and a very quick McLaren. He's just not very audacious.by jbnd05 - F1
That has to be before, it's a lot more now. If you look at yesterday a bit optimistically it could be over 50.by jbnd05 - F1
Worst season ever? LOLWUT. This season has been amazing. I really don't see the problem with DRS. Do people not remember how it was before?by jbnd05 - F1
BBC showed footage of MSC cutting the chicane when Hamilton was there from the T-cam view a few corners before; he didn't spin and it was a very conscious decision to use the old track. Ridiculous behaviour.by jbnd05 - F1
Apparently 9 being treated for minor injuries.by jbnd05 - F1
KERS explosion in the Williams garage, with some injuries apparently. Let's hope everyone's okay.by jbnd05 - F1
What a race!!!! Maldonado drove incredibly well, holding off Alonso all that time. For me the race vindicates the Pirellis and the DRS. Some amazing tyre management going on here, with Maldonado and Alonso lasting over 20 laps, and Hamilton lasting 30. It's a shame for Lewis because he drove very maturely and he STILL beat Jenson despite qualifying 24th (and it's not like he had somby jbnd05 - F1
McLaren might not have been forthcoming with the press but there's no suggestion they weren't with the stewards.by jbnd05 - F1
Crazy, the most that should happen is being put down to 10th.by jbnd05 - F1
Where did Alonso say that Nico had already forced Lewis off the road?by jbnd05 - F1
Why would Trulli be any better than Massa? He wasn't even good enough for Caterham.by jbnd05 - F1
Massa apparently shoved Hamilton in the press area. I thought Lewis' move was clumsy but Massa needs to keep a lid on it. JB drove a great race. When I think of my opinion of him as recently as four years ago, what he's done is unbelievable. I finally got to watch a race live today and it just reinforced what a loss this level of coverage will be. The relationships that the team havby jbnd05 - F1
When I first saw Jenson, I thought he'd been crying. Hopefully he'll do pretty well tomorrow. Good work by Vettel and Lewis. Senna is justifying his place with that kind of performance. I find the whole legal situation crazy; if Nick gets back in, how frosty will that garage be? I think by doing this, he's also going to get a reputation for being difficult.by jbnd05 - F1
Of course, I'm just saying that generally, today was a bit of an outlier when viewed in the spectrum of Hungarian GPs.by jbnd05 - F1
