Thank you very much, been wanting to try this for a while. (I've heard it works with GP2 as well.)
downloaded it and can't make it work for some reason. Double click on the icon and nothing happens.
Probably my computer rather than a broken download though.

Grand Prix 3 On the flip side, it made 27 on a ferrari, 26 on a ligier and 12 on a lotus pretty well known sights.
And had they continued past 1995 with the system...Alesi would have kept his 27 on a Benenetton, Villeneuve would have had a 9 on his Williams in 97, Ferrari would have then had 9 and 10 in 98...although they probably would have had the 27 and 28 back and Benetton would have taken the 9 and 10

F1 I had exatctly the same problem. I solved it by shutting down GP3 Edit before starting up the game...(making sure i had exported the stuff i wanted and saved the carset of course!)....i don't know the technical stuff behind it but it gets confused if gp3edit and gp3 are running at the same time.

Grand Prix 3 Fantastic career, this thread makes for an interesting read.
Made me to decide to re-install my gp3 and start a career of my own..starting in 1996. My story if that Pedro Diniz's sponser money became a no show so Ligier drafted me in. I managed 5th in Melbourne and 6th in Interlargos and retired 5 laps from the end in 4th in Argentina. Only getting points positions because of faster cars

Grand Prix 3 I know this story was an April Fool's joke...but it got me thinking of a fairly trivial question that you guys might want to get your teeth round while we wait for the next race.
If a current world champion leaves a team halway through the season for another team....does he take the number 1 with him or does he leave it with his replacement?
So, say Hamilton swapped with Barrichello...

F1 Oh yeah! Didn't notice i'd put them twice...well, they'd be that good!
Or we could replace them with AGS!

In my head anyway! What a championship that would be! :p

F1 Well I've just spent the whole evening searching the whole of this forum trying to get Grand Prix 3 to simply start on my XP, it crashes back to desktop almost immediately....and it just won't....i've tried every single suggestion i've read and have trawled through many threads going a long way back...i've searched every term i can think of.
I give up!

Grand Prix 3 As i said in another thread, i think they'll be a bit like Stewart in 1999. They have two respected and experienced drivers just like Stewert did in 1999. They have a good looking car, (not that helps speed i know but i've always like the 1999 Stewart and i like the 2009 Brawn). Barrichello did some of his best driving in 1999 and hopefully will do again this year.
So using my clumsy

F1 I think it would do Hamilton good to be out of the title race...he's not experienced that in F1 yet and with that pressure off...he should produce some great driving and set himself up for seasons to come. He'll win some races but only when circumstances allow....particularly when its wet...he'll have a season like Hakkinen in 2001 or Raikkonen in 2004/2006...but hopefully not as p

F1 Everyone is comparing Brawn with Prost in 1997...i think Brawn would happily take the season Prost has in 1997 (minus the Panis crash of course)...didn't Panis manage a couple of podiums and end up on the frost row in Spain? And looked like a contender in the Argentine Grand Prix....i know they didn't live up to the pre-season testing but they still turned in some fast weekends, (Trulli

F1 I think the fact the team are carrying 18 and 19 is more of an indication of what Honda was like last year...i think the team will be more concerned about that rather than Button and Barrichello worrying about their individual numbers.
I remember Peter Sauber being really excited about seeing single digit numbers on his car one year!

F1 Wow, how time flies....doesn't seem that long ago that Fisichella and Trulli were the young new stars of F1.
Think reading this just bought it home to me!
And to think we'll have a driver that's been going since 1993 this year in Barrichello. I started following F1 in 1993, that would be like there still being a driver from 1976 when i first started watching ...and even then

F1 Well i think this is all good news today.
The right decision was made.
No need to change any of the personal in the team. I'm happy most of all for the workforce in Brackley.
OK, they might not be that fast or reliable, but i bet the fire will be there more or ever. I reckon we could see some of the best driving that both Button and Barrichello have done in years as well. Barrichell

F1 If the Renault does turn out to be bad...i wouldn't put it past Alonso to squeeze a win or 2 out of again later in the season.
I'm glad Piquet got another chance...but it really is a last chance i reckon...and one that might not last long if he fluffs it up....he needs to be on it from the first second of the first practice in Melbourne and keep it going.
I think it'll be Fer

F1 I don't see anything wrong with the Button/Barrichello combination.
I wouldn't take risks yet...the team has been through enough during the past few months.
I would stick with Rubens on the off chance a wet race comes along....both Button and Barrichello are good on their day and thats an asset worth keeping i reckon.
I can see both making the most of being on the backfoot and

F1 Must be really special moments for the drivers mentioned....in most of the cases, they're usually forgotten because of something more significant that happened in that race...which in some cases helped them to get there in the first place!

F1 Heres a new question or you, one that shouldn't cause arguments...hopefully!
Can you name 5 drivers who have made just one podium appearance in their career? And you are not allowed to use existing drivers as they still have a chance of more podiums!
Here are mine.
1. Pedro de la Rosa (Hungary 2006)
2. Gianni Morbidelli (Australia 1995)
3. Nicola Larini (Imola 1994, really feel or

F1 The qusetion is, would you rather have a grid of 20 quality drivers (and i'm not suggesting we have that now!)....or a more full grid of 26-30 drivers like in the 90's, but with a handful of them being awful.
Bigger grids aren't always necessarily a good thing...although i do miss some of the backmarker teams...always had a soft spot for the likes of Larrouse, Pacific, Dallara a

F1 Nice to start with the Ferrari.
Wonder which driver will get no3 and which one will get no4?
Not that it matters! Numbers don't seem as important as they used to. For example, driving a number 27 mclaren or a number 12 lotus...or even Ligier and their 25 and 26.
...well, the no1 has a little bit of importance attached to it i suppose!
Edit: 27 McLaren?!!! I meant 27 Ferrari of co

F1 My favourite DC moments?
1. Argentina 1995, overtaking MS, should have won that one really.
2. The noise Murray Walker made when he crashed into the pit wall in Adelaide.
3. That pit stop that won him Monza in 1997.
4. Interviews he's done for ITV since he joined Red Bull.
5. His first race for Red Bull was fairly brilliant i recall.
6. That race against MS in France in 2000.

F1 I agree with a lot of the comments on here. There has been too many mistakes but it has made for an interesting season. Really though, this was Rakkionen's or Hamilton's chance to run away with it (or even Massa's given his form) and no-one quite managed it.
I wonder how winning/losing the championship would effect both drivers in the way they approach races. I was wondering if

F1 One of the most tense battles i've ever seen was Japan 1994...and the cars in question weren't fighting together on the track. But that was definitly the exception rather than the norm.
I followed F1 religiously in the 90's and early 2000's...but i feel Formula 1 has evolved a lot even since then and i feel a little left behind...even the classic tracks have moved on...only

F1 Hill became a bit like Berger after 1996 in my opinion. Now and again he would put in a good performace. The end of 98 springs to mind, as well as 4th on the grid at Jerez in 97 as well as Hungary of course.
As a Hill fan, it was a bit galling to watch his performances at times in those two years. Nothing against Diniz but Hill shouldn't have got outqualified by him a couple of times. An
