F1 Bah, thought i was on for my 3rd win as well!
Only 2 days left for the June competition folks...(I think we know who is going to win it!)...fresh leaderboard starts on Saturday. Maybe Cynic should be banned for July so the rest of us get a chance to win!!!

F1 Well in the monthly table,Cynic looks like running away with it! Lemming is closing on me in 2nd place now. I'm not doing so well today either!
Last week next week before we start afresh for July! I dont think anyone can catch cynic before the end of June now!

F1 Ok, I used to post on here lots...then 2 years ago,I moved to the USA...but now I'm back in England. Been lurking for the past 2 years and I thought it was time, (seeing I'llbe digging my PC and Grand Prix 3 out of storage soon!), that I posted on here again.
I discovered a daily quiz thing on another forum, and its fun. Easy to sign up to as well. You answer 10 questions every day,a

F1 I'm currently running to the 2001 season. I've replaced Sepang with Kyalami...and then I will replace it with Phoenix in the 2002 season. I've decided to use that slot 2 as a 'guest' slot for various tracks around the world each season (which may be a good idea in real life, use one race as a guest venue where a different track somehwre in the world gets to host the grand

Grand Prix 3 Quite an annoying season to play for us GP3 gamers becasue of the two very different carshapes...a right mix of high noses and low noses.
I play up to 1995 on GP2 and 1996 onwards on GP3 and this works very well.
But having said all that, I am very interested to see and test a 1995 carset on GP3...maybe i'll just give them all high noses...but then again, that ferrari looked so good wi

F1 Only half the race is being shown on ITV1 anyway i think, teletext says that coverage continues on itv2 at 7.15.
But everyone has ITV2 now dont they? Except me.

F1 "10 years on and how many other drivers would have died if if had not been for senna losing his life."
It's a difficult question that. It's true that the accident changed people's way of thinking. every serious crash since has had people asking questions. The way tyre walls are used after Burti was buried in them after his spa crash in 2001 is the example i can think of

F1 The back markers do slow for you, but they won't move off line, and they do attack you back sometimes. But remeber this can happen in real life ask Verstappen and Montoya.
Then again, i'm currently playing 2001 and have edited Yoong to be so dreadfully slow that all you've got to do is wait until the next piece of straight tarmac and you're through.
It's not the back m

Grand Prix 3 Yeah, i get what you mean...with the Friday and Saturday qualifying sessions in GP2 you really feel as if you are building up to an important race. GP3 though, you do notice that you have gone from one track to the next more because of the superior track graphics...i alsoi find that the damage settings in GP2 are more realistic, although maybe thats because i've got more to grips with editin

Grand Prix 3 Theres a download on here somewhere where you can change frivers names halfway through a championship, it's quite good except that any new drivers then get the points of the driver they have replaced, meaning that Keisa would automatically get Wilson's points...um..if thats even an issue in this case!

Grand Prix 3 Lets run this one by you!
Is there anyone else that does this?
I like to run a career through the 1990's using GP2 and GP3, i find that GP2 reflects the pre-1996 rules very nicely and you can have the choice of a raised nose-cone on a car, (every car since 1996 uses a raised nose so thats another good reason).
Then after 1996 i use GP3...and i find it makes for an interesting few season u

Grand Prix 3 I can't seem to find a non-tobacco set for the 2000 season anywhere. not even on Emac where i normally get them from. With Silverstone being the 4th race of that season, gonna need it soon.
Can anyone help?

Grand Prix 3 A1 Ring is by far my best. But i seem to be very inconsistent. Magny Cours 98 season in a Benetton i was useless, same race 99 season in a Benetton i almost won it, (engine failure with 6 laps to go, was on 100% distance!). But i'm always downloading different setups and compare them to mine and test them like crazy in the free sessions, so maybe i should remeber to save setups, then i might

Grand Prix 3 I still play GP2, so i can have the old friday qualifying and its stupidly good for its age. And i reckon i'd load up the original GP again when i get my commodore amiga out the loft in my mums house.
And i like playing GP3 cos its the best my computer can handle and the editing options are immense.
My computer just tells me to f%$ off when i try GP4.

Grand Prix 3 When i used to play Le Mans 24 hours on my playstation, it had oil flags, and the track would be slippery for a bit. And one of the F1 games on the playstation has the safety car. Even though GP3 is a laegue above these games, a few copying ideas wouldn't have been minded too much!

Grand Prix 3 Yeah, i tried that, and converting bitmaps into jams, and i'm still having transparency problems.
If someone can find me a good 1999 carset for GP3-2000, i can find a solution (albeit one that requires some work!) to my problem.
Thanks for replying

Can i convert a GP3 carset to GP3-2000 and if so how?
