Right, you don't need to have gp3 1.13 installed on your PC to install GP3 2000... it's a separate game, but it does need the original GP3 cd to verify that you own the original gp3 gp3 (original) will default install to C:\\program files\microprose\gp3 GP3 2000 will default install to C:\\program files\infogrammes\gp3 season 2000 There is no need to install GP3 2000 directly over thby Nik - Grand Prix 3

I don't beleive that either track has been made as yet, though I do know that Florian Jesse has been working on Montjuich Park, though it's been a while since I heard anything.by Nik - Grand Prix 3
Ah, well thats the big question, but unfortunatly I don't know the answer to that one, I am getting into track editing but I'm still learning the basics, as I said before Dieter had to adjust the Trackfile to allow the sw mode to run properly. I suggest you contact the author of the track, he may be so kind as to help out with a specific sw version trackfile, on the other hand you mayby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Are you decrypting the .exe yourself? if so try downlooading one of the pre-decrypted .exe's from this site. Also do as Tim says and check that the patch is looking for the correct pathby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Sorry, screenshots don't work with GPxPatch in SW mode, if you want screenshots try a screen capture tool like Hypersnap DX... Thats what I use and it works fine with gp3 Nikby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Hi Pat well I've returned... though not to tell you that I'm gonna convert those tracks for you, it's a long job :0 The Jam editor 2000 by James Knopp features a HW to SW conversion command. This works ok, but sometimes the textures can be a little messed up. But heres how to do it anyway... Install the HW mode jams in the correct directory within your GP3jams (no H) sounds funby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Theres also a nice Audi Prototype (Le Mans) carshape out there as well, can't remember where I got it from but if anyone can't find it and wants it I can mail it to themby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Well its not really a normal car and you can't download it yet as it's not finished but Marco Alderuccio is developing a Ferrari F40, it looks ok but suffers from the fact that GP3 is not designed for tin-top shapesby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Jim Clark has to be one of the greatest of all time, he recently won the greatest driver of F1 history in ITV F1 magazine and I think it's about right, 25 wins and only one second place, means that when the car was good he won more often than not and was rarely beaten into second place This is also the guy who was the first British Driver to win the Indy 500.by Nik - Grand Prix 3
You can find Starchilds Dijon track here and some great 1979 carsets and add-ons skins here [64.41.95.24] in the carsets and carskins section yes Alex I know exactly what you mean, I did it aswell, but the results never went quite the same as real life ((by Nik - Grand Prix 3
Starchild is not doing Reims, that much is true, but it is being done by a certain gentlemen that I know. Expect it in a couple of weeks. Reims is a very difficult track to do because of the geography around it. The start finish straight can be seen from the hill (virage Garrenne) but it takes quite abit of time to fill in all of the texture ribbons to prevent the transparent effect that will grby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Has to be Clermont Ferrand by Bob Culver for me, a really cool twisty track and its also for gp3 too!!!by Nik - Grand Prix 3
I also know someone who is working on a cool track, I could say who it is, he hasn't asked me not to tell.... but hey, I'll keep the mystery like Andrew has... Andrew, maybe we know the same person?by Nik - Grand Prix 3
You guys seen this one? for gods sake don't post the picture in the forum it's 800k in size!by Nik - Grand Prix 3
Thats just sick, how could anyone just ignor VIP tickets to the British GP ,but its just the sort of thing that my boss would do, so I'm not too suprisedby Nik - Grand Prix 3
Oh the woe, The great Starchild le funk is no more Recently he has become more involved with his music (which is very good I should say) and has had no time for track editing, so goodbye Steve, we're gonna miss yaby Nik - Grand Prix 3

Oliver Gavin (whatever happened to him?) used gp1 to learn the spa circuit for the 1993 formula 3 race at Spa-Francorchamps and I beleive he did quite well too.by Nik - Grand Prix 3
