hi, it looks like a problem with the sectors to pit and/or the pre-pit speed. It seems the car corrects to pit at the very last moment ignoring the imposed offset (sector to pit 1) which is at the exit of the last turn indeed it's still following the ccline next to where the pitlane starts. I see you used the first beta i uploaded wich was unsure, please try the second beta and see what haby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
please try this one, install all again, added something more:by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
what do you mean by hitting the grass/wall, do the cars miss the entrance line? the track should contain a md because i packed it from the season folder without editing further. anyway in gp3 2000 of course it needs to be converted into .md2 just to be sure it's all correct. Also the pitlane entrance aproach changes by the power of the carset. a more powerful carset requires more space toby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
great news! hope you find it useful the program is a constant work in progress, so for any unexpected issue let me knowby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
please try this version. it is a rar file so extract it directly into any folder: if it won't download try from the page: (it must be a rar file so eventually refresh the face to update the cache).by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
I've been very lazy with editing in this period and i'm eager to pull out some full finished projects when possible but this is it at the moment. anyway to make me partially forgive i posted a very beta driveable portimao. the official one is not postable because has not ccline and testures are not yet sorted. hope this one is good enough for a look Just for the chronicles, hereby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
hello, i did a deeper check and i'm afraid is a problem with the installer. i discovered that this version it fails to extract some folders. Please check the folder where the RM program is installed. if you miss the "Seasons" and "Output" folders just create them and try again to create the season. it should work again. If you have uncreated seasons listed in the Step1by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
thanks anyway René, i solved it the fastest way, dumped all in the bin and rebuilt it. it's a very strange bug because all commands were in the right place with the right arguments. Payed the fee I hope to avoid it for a while nowby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
VTR went bankrupt by the damages caused by my guys today. no sauna for this weekby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
@ Renè i hope you can help me, i fell again in this bug while working on a track. For some reason the command 0xa2 (Join left pitlane fence) is also pointing to the right pitlane fence (red segment) instead of the left (yellow segment). The command 0xa1 (Join right pitlane fence) seems to work fine though. I could hide the bug by removing that command but i'm not sure if the track is actuaby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
the rain issue happened with all kind of tracks, belini track, normal track and original track. both gp3 1.13 and 2kby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
The track extention is still experimental. Though working with it about editing I'm using it really when very necessary. We can only report issues at this stage to help René updating it and alert players to find a workaround when odd situations happenby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi, i think i found something strange happening with the track extention. if a save a wet race, on reload the rain disappear. reporting here too as i noticed the problem disappear when setting back the 8km limit.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi, i just found a strange problem with saved games in gp3 1.13 and gp3 2000. If a race starts wet, save the game and reload it, the rain disappears and the track appears dry. sometimes a little drizzle. all cars are on wet tyres on a dry track. it looks like the game is unable to store the game status or messes with the random seed EDIT: Ok I discovered it happens when selecting the trackby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
very positive event for us, congratz to both driversby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
wow feb 2002. this thread is older than gp3 itself thanks for the upload, i think i missed it and just in case... please Geoff start coding GP5by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3

i can't find the package here, so i copied the sky files from the game folderby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3

since it came to mind right now, do you know if it's possible to move the race laps limit from 127 to 256?by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
yep, it works for both gp3 1.13 and 2k pirx Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And sooooo beautiful clouds!!!!!!!! (never saw > something like this in GP3) somebody uploaded them. they should be somewhere in the download section but appear only with no rain chance.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
hi, I just uploaded the new version of this track It was one of the very first tracks I built something like 10 years ago. Now I rebuilt it based on google earth and onboard videos. Worked more on details which I was not capable those days. I hope you like it, always been one of my favourites tracks with its long corners Important: it requires the GpxPatch 4.22 or newer versionsby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
if i remember it's the RCR distance in the GpXLap tab of the GpXPatch. it should set at which distance the carshape is automatically switched to the original. But from memories i remember that increasing too much these values will increase the processor work.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3

hi, thanks Renè. I suspected 255 was the limit. it would be incredibly usefulby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
hi, yes i know. what i mean is changing the width of the kerb to make complex figures. unfortunately they must be set for each sector independently of the type of kerb. check this structure. instead of making the track junction altering the track width which bugs the ccline i did it using kerbs which accept higher values. but the limit of 32 doesn't offer much room to make detailed stuffby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3

What do you need it for? was the post for me? well, was just asking. it's more for an aestethical matter so not that important. gp3 lacks to show backface of the guard rails so in external camera it maby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
from the description i think instead i knew of this function but totally forgot it was all in that checkbox. i have it disabled, but makes no difference when enabled. i hoped the backface mapping could be turned on permanently from somewhere, but i think it's only some graphical misprint.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
i honestly don't know about the extended pause mode, never knew what it does for some reason, leaving the cockpit and returning from any T-cam or track camera has the power to map the backface of the fences, but as soon as you switch to onboard view again the backface returns transparent. ***pics removed***by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
