Hi everyone! I first played a Crammond game with Revs on the old BBC computer (if anyone remembers them), I bought GP4 back in 2002 but my PC never really ran it well and I gave up. I'm returning on my new PC but am totally out of touch with what's been going on. I've done a clean install, patched it with the official patch and added the decrypted exe. Now for all the questby JohnnyFiama - Grand Prix 4
Can someone recommend (and tell me where I can get) setups for GP3-2000 for the 2002 seaon? (Are the physics slightly different for 2002?). I'm only using the standard tracks. I use a keyboard if that makes any difference. I've made some of my own setups but I have no idea how good they are as I have no comparison except with the standard ones. I downloaded the latest drivers from the Creative web site and then clicked on configure in GP3. This seems to have done the trick, there are now no sound options ticked (EAX is still grayed out) but it all seems to work with no crackling..... one of lifes little mysteries......by JohnnyFiama - Grand Prix 3
I've just installed a Sound Blaster 4.1 Digital soundcard as my old soundcard was ancient. I now have 2 issues: 1. There is a crackle everytime I lift off the throttle or change gear. 2. EAX is greyed out even though the card supports EAX. Other than that it sounds much better, great to hear the other cars. Any help gratefully received. Cheers, JohnnyFby JohnnyFiama - Grand Prix 3
For various reasons I haven't touched GP3 in months, I have the 2000 update. I've tried to find stuff but would someone be able to let me know: - Is there is a simple editor now to import carsets into GP3-2000? - Are there 2002 carsets out there for GP3-2000? and finally: Browsing through the site it seems to be more GP3 than GP3-2000 oriented, do not as many people use the 2000 uby JohnnyFiama - Grand Prix 3
