I'm not using megapatches. I'm basically using only Belini's tracks and set up my own carsets using GPxPatch.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Sorry, what do you mean exactly by "modded versions"?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Hi, is anyone else having this weird issue with wet races? Be it championship or non-championship one, if I save a race when it rains and then reload it, the track will be dry. It's still raining, only there are no puddles and the tarmac is completely dry until it gets damp again in a few laps. It's as if the weather conditions are not saved in the race game file. I think it has soby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Thank you for your enthusiastic engagement with this ancient game, guys! Especially Evandro who was once again a true detective Orloff, thank you also for the work you're putting in.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
There seems to be some kind of problem with object placement in Orloff's recent work - the Indy 2020 The entire pit building is not visible (or rather overlaid by the objects behind) when looking from the trackside camera view of any car in the pits. Wow, you really got warmed up for this issue a true detective! For me it's only Korea 2011, 2012 is fine. And yes, it's that exact spot: between first and second corner. At first I also thought it might have something to do with the jip line... Who knows. Rene SDI Smit might be able to tell the cause directly from the log. I've never seen this exception address before, 0x739by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Dear Evandro, I tried to send you a PM reply but it says "The message could not be sent. The mail storage space for user 'evroic' is full." So I'm copying my message here Dear Evandro, thanks for reaching out! Yes, unfortunately I already tried the settings you suggested and it didn't matter. Hi, for some reason Holemad's Korea 2011 crashes to desktop close to every beginning of a lap. Can somebody please help? Thanks guys, if you mean the CC power & grip factor, I tried that after I read the magic data discussion (as suggested by wvdriel). But since I'm using the keyboard, decreasing the values affected me as well - my time went up proportionally with the CCs. Then I eliminated that by setting the "Player car performance team dependent" in the GPxPatch to "Power and grip&quoby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Oh, sorry. It is GP3-2k and it was patched with the Belini-patch. I am using a physics file as well (also Belini's). I will look for the magic data discussion, thaks!by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I was wondering if there is a way to slow down the CCs in the magic data file. I tried searching through the posts in this forum but was unable to find the info. I also tried playing with the magic data but to no avail. There are some tracks out there on which I simply cannot keep up with CCs, the difference is too big (for example Sochi), and I consider myself to be a pretty good racer. Uwe, may I ask how are you coming along?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Ahh, I stand corrected. Belini did in fact define the tarmac file for Donington and I have it as well.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
That's great news guys Uwe, I have the *.jip files and can send them to you if you want. As for don_tree3.jam I believe that file doesn't exist actually... Also I think Belini never defined the tarmac file for Donington.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
It can't be that nobody uses championship mode but me?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Is there anybody who is still capable of making tools for editing GP3, or is it a "forgotten art"? There once was a guy named Alessandro Carrera who used to make great stuff, but I doubt he's still around It would be great if there was a way to change the weather settings in a championship saved game. I'm asking specifically beacuse of Belini Singapore and Yas Marina traby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Which carshape is that? Can I have it pleaseby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I'd say this is related to helmets, the game is most probably unable to find software helmets. Make sure helmets jams are there in the gamejams folder, and that both HW and SW jams have the exact same name.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Bump... anyone?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Hi, I was unable to find the solution to two things that I would really love to do: 1) Does anybody know how to change the frame rate (FPS) inside the ch'ship saved game? I'm talking about hexedit and stuff... What to look for, what to change? 2) There was a way to patch the GP3 so that CC fuel is shown in the race, even if you haven't retired from the race. So what exactly does tread=00 mean?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Wow. I fixed it. Or should I say I "fixed" it, but I don't understand how... I took a look at tire settings in some of your season sets Pirx, and noticed one particular setting: Tread=00. I don't know what it did to the game, but now the external tire graphics are OK.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Hi I have an unusual problem with wet weather tires. Has anyone else experienced something like this: I'm afraid that it's about the gfx card, but still hoping someone will offer a simpler solution than changing the card...by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Bump! Really, what about the HRT team? It has nice colors this season, I'm sure Rodrogo or Jyce could make a neat looking car out of itby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Bump Anyone?...by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Hi people, I'd appreciate if anybody could help me with this... My computer broke down recently and I had to transfer the entire GP32K to the new one. But there the game doesn't run so smooth so I had to decrease the frame rate somewhat (to 21 FPS) in order to bring the PO down. However, the games that were saved on the previous PC have the old frame rate value embedded in them (25 Fby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Will try that, thanks very much for this suggestion! Please don't get me wrong, I see now that you'd put an amazingly great deal of time and effort into all this and I may seem ungrateful. But I'm not, it's just that I'm obviously the black sheep who finds 2010 races too realistic (i.e. undriveable) Thanks for everything.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
It's not that. In their most recent editions, seasons 1996-2000 came with "season patches" whereas 2001-2010 didn't. Belini released only the already patched .exe files. However there's no real problem with any other season other than 2010, which is the only one with full race fuel load. I would like to hack the 2010 .exe to remove that feature.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
