Hey, LS, are you running GP4 on a GeForce 4 Ti4400/4600? I thought it ran pretty sweet on my machine, but those pictures crap all over my screenshots.by TeamFerrari - Off-Topic
I dunno if anyone heard about this, but apparently TV's 30-year-old high school student (from "Beverly Hills 90210" is racing in IRL, or something like that. Apparently, he had a major accident while qualifying or practicing for a race, and suffered serious injuries. Usually I don't like to hear about race car drivers getting seriously injured or killed in a race, but I had toby TeamFerrari - Off-Topic

how do you insert a picture into this forum stream? , 'cos I've got a few i'd like to enter the competition with. Do you need to have your pictures actually on-line first, then include a link to them when you type your message, or can you upload them from your pc??by TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 4
btw, if u go to the forum and ask when a new version is out then they get the big mafia men to tell you :P Exactly, Dumbass, that's why I posted the question on here and not there!!by TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 4
Hey everyone, I know Rene Smit puts in a lot of effort in developing and coding the updated versions of GPx patch, but is it just me or does GP4 need the Speed and Time extention? (ie GPx SAT) Personally, I like being able to look at just how much time there is between myself and the leaders and how time I have to make up between me and the cars in front. So, just wondering if anyone knows ifby TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 4
Hey, Hypermusic Ellis, you are so right about Cristiano Da Matta. There is no doubt in my mind that he'll be CART champ by the end of the year, and IF he joins F1 in 2004 (hopefully), that will be a spectacular season of racing, with Button, Barrichello, Montoya, Raikkonen and Fisichella trying to take over where Michael Schumacher left off.by TeamFerrari - F1
I'm running GP4 on a Sparkle 128mb DDR GeForce3 Ti 200 *phew*, and believe you me, if you're on a fairly tight budget, try and get the best vid card you can, cos if you want to play GP4 with all details on, you need some fairly chunky hardware. That and a Athlon 1800XP with 512 Mb of DDR RAM can't hurt. I'd love to see what GP4 looks like on a GF4 4600 though....especially atby TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 4
Whoa, LS, that picture looks tops!!! Just looking at the detail in that Ferrari, makes me want to gasp!!! But the thing that makes it all the more realistic is the speed blurring on the camera and the relections on the car and off the track! And Hypermusic Ellis, that picture looks sooo cool as well, especially with the raindrops on the lens. What are the specs of your PC's which can letby TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 4
When Alex Yoong signed on for Minardi, I think he was too unprepared for the competitiveness of qualifying and racing, and while I understand he's a decent enough driver (he must be, or why would he be in F1 in the first place?), I keep wondering in which position would he qualify if he were in a McLaren, Ferrari or Williams? Having said that, Mark Webber has done extremely well in a Minardby TeamFerrari - F1
I'll be really sad to see Mika Hakkinen out of F1. There weren't that many drivers that REALLY competed with Michael Schumacher for the championship in the last few couple of years, and those years he was champion, 1998-99, were some of the best ever. Notice how when he was competing, the championship was decided in either the last (or second to last) race of the season and Schumey nevby TeamFerrari - F1
Hey Cai, I knew it was different - I heard about the changes last year. Usually when the track designers modify a circuit, they add a few corners to it, or put a chicane in, or something like that, but the Hockenheim circuit provided fast furious slipstreaming races, and the only other tracks that provides that now is Monza (and Indianapolis down the main straight). Hopefully it will provide juby TeamFerrari - F1
Has anyone seen what they've done to the Hockenheim layout? looks so different, I'm gonna miss those slipstreaming battles of old. I reckon they've butchered another classic circuit just so those Germans can see more of their hero again!by TeamFerrari - F1
For those people who follow CART racing, listen up! Some people like Juan Montoya have made the successful transition between CART and Formula 1, and I have heard (and this is just a rumour) that Cristiano da Matta may be looking for a F1 drive in 2003 or 2004, whether it might be with BAR or Jaguar, or maybe even Arrows. Do you reckon that, if M Schumacher lingers around until the end of his cby TeamFerrari - F1
Dang, he looks exactly like Malcom McDowell in a scene from "A Clockwork Orange" (those who have seen the film will know what I'm talking about)by TeamFerrari - F1
Hey LS, sitting next to that Ferrari, makes you look like Dick Dastardly, just seconds before sabotaging it. You could've thrown a spanner in Schumacher's car to slow it down, a bit!by TeamFerrari - F1
Hey LS, do you know that link to "FredFaster" doesn't work? Just thought I'd let you knowby TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 3
will he make it 4 for 4 DNF's? (CDN_Merlin) Depending on the weather, and if it is raining right at the start of the race, I'm guessing that there might be a big accident right on the first lap, and I'm further guessing that JPM will be involved somewhere. It seems that he has the touch of Johnny Herbert on him, doesn't he? Almost anytime he manages to score a pole position,by TeamFerrari - F1
Hey, just to defend myself a bit here, I like having the ability to hear things...I don't know if that's just me! BTW, there's a difference between being 50 metres away in a grandstand and watching the action, LS, and being (almost) within arms reach of 22 cars wizzing past on a street track. Trust me, they're extremely loud at that range. You don't see many pit crew waby TeamFerrari - F1
Is this going to be Williams' new livery for the rest of the year, starting from Silverstone? Is that car supposed to near-black/blue? Looks like it from the picture! I can't understand why the teams would change their liveries half way through the year. I can understand for one race (Monza 2001), but have they changed sponsors as well? What happened to Compaq??by TeamFerrari - F1
At first I couldn't, make out what was printed on the ticket.....I thought his mate gave him a mobile phone!!! lol at myself. The British GP should be pretty good, hope it rains there, not to spoil the race, but to make it just a little more exciting. We (as F1 racing viewers) haven't seen a decent wet race since Sepang 2001, and they're damn more exciting than dry races. A few mby TeamFerrari - F1
Dizzoau, Assuming you have an AGP or PCI video card, (not one of those on-board jobs), the computer will tell you as soon as you turn it on. If you turn on your monitor first, get it all warmed up, then turn on your PC, the first thing it will display is the VGA BIOS information, and how much RAM you have on you video card. (In theory anyway!) Hope that helps!!by TeamFerrari - Grand Prix 3
