Yes, but he'd correct himself if it wasn't too messed up!
The PC version is poor compared to the console one I find.
I much prefer to play the psx version with an emulator.
epsxe works quite well with it.

Try googling epsxe and perhaps looking on ebay for "formula 1 97".
There are copies on there for less than a fiver including delivery.

F1 '97 was awesome. :) It went missing one day when my mum was childminding a kid from my school, but nothing was ever said. All the bonus modes were great, as was the game's accessibility. The stunt track was immense too. ;)

The intros were fantastic for these games. All of the before EA games!

I think 99 was my favourite!! I liked the menu music to the EA 2000 game also.

Ah nice disk mate with Hissing Sid on )

Same as Chet my favourite was 99, loved that you could be all the drivers, even Salo and Sarrazin and you could get the safety car to come out too

F1 2000 did have some good music but back then most EA sports games did, I remember loving the music on Fifa 2000 aaswell

Anyone play the World Grand Prix Games on N64 they where pretty awesome :)

Had the 98 F1 game for the N64, was great indeed :D. I'd drive arcade and drive so unreasonably though, hahahaha ;). Was awesome winning the title and having the car on the podium with then your salary and have that clip in the credits.

Haha I could never win the title with the 98 game, used to always get beaten by the Mclarens and Schumacher

Finished 1st 2nd and 3rd in the 97 one though, damm I loved that game, driving as Alesi in the Benetton :)

EA game had some of the best music:

Placebo - Every You, Every Me

and a couple others which I recognise but don't know the names of. Anybody?
