Proof of our game will be coming very soon and we will have 3D models of our cars very soon. The hackers on the site have been sorted and like someone said before we are only trying to do something for you guys so don't mock us.

Aye indeed we are currently looking for any help people can offer. We have got the forum moderated now by me as well as shaun to prevent spammers and also we would like some modellers so if you wanna be involved in that sign up to the website and get in touch.

Surely if you want to attract graphic artists you should be demonstrating your physics and graphics engine to attract these people?

There are plenty of people out there that will model and create textures for something that exists ;-)

3D models are the last thing you need to make a game... Find any early development shots of a game being built from the ground up and you'll find the graphics are often just 2D sprites to help test the physics + graphics engine link.

this is seems so ridiculous to me.. wants to make a new revolutionary gp game, yet they need to recruit people to make it for them!! get serious guys, nobody is going to be a modeller for you imaginary game, you havent created anything, so why would anyone want to be involved in this? have you actually created anything for the game engine?? or do you just want others to make it for you, because all you seem to be doing is asking others for help, what will create? i assume nothing. if you cant do the models that amateurs create, how can you program a revoutionary f1 game engine?? answer is you cant.
for goodness sake shut up with the criticism. To say we havent got anything is wrong we have. We have two proper programmers for your information not zero and as far as modellers is concerned yes of course we need them because we need to know that these people also believe in us even now which is the reason why we are asking now plus if everything is done earlier things can get done quicker when it comes to them and you lot can get a game earlier.
Can't you cheat at this stage and use some others from GP4 or rFactor just to test and build and prove the game engine works? With the engine in place, the modellers can know what they're building for and working around.

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10; indeed, it's a common requirement in fairy tales. If the human didn't have to overcome huge odds, what would be the point? Terry Pratchett - The Science Of Discworld

Suppose so I will tell the head of the project this but that is an interesting idea yes and could be possible. Good idea turkey_machine.

you can just model a rectangular box and add 4 round objects to the edges, just to give you and idea also :)
Just out of interest, what graphics engine are you using? How are you mapping the physics settings to the objects you create? Knowing these things is fairly essential. Do you know them?
