Was discussing with Rich about race settings.

I am thinking that we should use :

1x Tyre wear
2x Fuel Consumption

and Have the race start at 2pm game time, and have time scale on around 4/5x as the race should finish around twilight then.

The reason for the tyre and fuel options is that 2x fuel makes it so you have to pit, and well since no one likes warn tyres its more fun to keep 1x.

as rich pointed out it will make qualifying a bit more interesting as the car will be heavier, so times will be slower.

Seems like a good idea to me. Using 1x fuel you would have the 1 stoppers vs 2 stoppers battle, but I really wouldn't find much enjoyment in making the tyres last the fuel run really, so it forces that.

Do things go bump in the night at Bathurst? ;)

Having a cold has never been, and will never be an excuse not to race :P I've raced in 6 hour endurance races before where I've had to devise nose blowing strategies on the straights!

I trust you used a handkerchief, rather than the WOSEC compatible curtains?

Sadly the WOSEC compatible curtains are in another room now, but the alternative are approved SSCA curtains :)

Remember to always have socks and clean underwear laying around, in the lack of curtains :P

Do WOSEC compatible curtains randomly fall off the wall and set fire to your house?

I've only managed to get to lap 5 so far before before the cockpit fills with kitty litter, so the handling at lap 10 hasn't been an issue yet :P

I did try some laps at night though. It's not too bad actually. The only thing that comes to mind is the braking point for turn 2 is totally dark.

Yup, looking forward to it too, even though it looks like I'll be in a bit of a hole, between Neil P and Rich doing silly times, and the rest. I guess Glyndo will be around my pace. :)

I thought Glyn was on qualifying fuel last night whilst I had a great bucket load on board ;)

All I've got to do is wait for you to go burying it in the tyre wall again anyway Pearson, when you go looking for the mcskippy burger stand again!
