I'll do my typical "Goes a mile offline when being lapped and ends up spinning and causing a crash anyway"

Do you need to be that aggressive? I didnt wanted to have more say than you, I wasnt stealing your idea, I was just making some suggestions so everyone could join without restrictions. Not all of us are V8 addicts, and we could always do a forum F1 race if we wanted to (thank you Nick). :)

And I was being polite, but instead u decided to send me a pm with more aggressive attacks. And no, I am not scared about racing against you in V8s. I just dont like Bathurst and V8s. I see more challenge for me in a F1 mod than in a V8 mod, but ofc its just my opinion, we all have different opinions. If you can say that I'm scared of racing against you in V8s, I can say that you are scared of racing against me in a F1 or GP2 mod. ;)

Indeed, I have already driven those V8s before, they arent the problem, but I still prefer open-wheel mods.

Is Bathurst confirmed? Then i'm out. And to show you how I am polite, I'll follow your suggestion and I will stay out from this thread unless there are changes in this race.

Haven't you worked Neil out yet? He's a great guy, he just enjoys rubbing people up. He's one of the 'core members' of the place and just enjoys stirring - if you stop giving him ammunition, he'll stop firing ;)

Sorry, but I had to laugh. Any F1 mod is simple as... The GP2 mod is harder. The V8s are in a different league if you want to prove yourself. It's not the be all and end all, but if you want to show your ability, it's one of those mods which separates the men from the boys, to coin a phrase.

And I'm not even going to comment if you use any aids...

I wasn't planning to use any, but if everybody is gonna use TC and such, I'll do so too :P

Well, gav, its just your opinion, we have different opinions about the mods, so i wont argue with you about them :)

And about the aids, I am just using TC, and ofc I want to start playing without TC for the F1 2008 :)

F1 around china is a bad idea, as it is a bad track. Played the 2005 mod for the first time in ages around Spa in a minardi on default setup, and that was fun ;)

Anyway, both Bathurst and the V8 mod are really good on rfactor, and if i was a bit better i would have a go but i haven't played in a while.

And I have to laugh to you if you let me. It's true that it's simple to drive , but to say " separates the men from the boys"? BS! If you think you can beat the " F1 men " then... You will be surprised when you see the real difficult.

Anyways , I will give this mod and track a try. If the general quality of mod and track is good I might give this race a go ;-)

"F1 men"? Are you suggesting that I think I might be better than real F1 drivers?

Being one of them, I doubt that to be honest ;-)

senna,

If you think that PM was agressive, you havent seen anything ;) I was only trying to guide you into racing. but i guess you really only like f1. and listen to gav ;)

yeah I was driving around and the cars were pretty similar indeed. 2:13:8 with race fuel, for a first try , is it bad ?

The cars seem pretty good and so does the track so maybe I will appear. If not, I will say before the event.

pretty good on full fuel for a first try mate.

Was that using my set?

nope, I changed a few things from the base setup for my liking. it was done with 50 litres , not FULL fuel. I guess the race won't have pit stops , right ?
