I've played GP3 for a long, time, and since I got this new computer, I've finally gotten into GP4. However, I am looking for games that push my system (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.40, 2 gig ram, ATI X1900XTX), that drive beautifully, and have a lot of tracks to race on. It doesn't have to be a F1 sim.

Thanks for any suggestions guys.

rFactor, GTR2, GPL....... They'll use your system hardly :)

I got GTR2 today, and so far I am impressed.

It pushes my system (Athlon AMD 4200 Dual Core, GeForce 7600GS, 1GB RAM) pretty hard when its raining and at night with a lot of cars. Graphics are sharp and crisp if not mind blowing. I am yet to try it online, but will be doing soon.

The AI is good and the physics, as far as I can tell are pretty decent as well.

So yeah I recommend GTR2 from what I've seen of it so far. The only thing that disappoints me is it seems to have recycled a lot of content from GTR 1, this isn't necessarily a bad thing but to me it just seems like laziness on the part of simbin (the guy on the radio, for example, uses exactly the same sound files as in GTR1 as far as i can tell).

As for rFactor, I can't get into it at all, my main gripe being the lack of a save feature and a lack of servers running game default content online. I know a lot of ppl on these forums have a high opinion of it though in comparison to other sims.

[www.liveforspeed.net] - Although if your more into the graphics rather than the actual driving side of things it's probably not the game for you as the graphics engine wont be updated until S3.

Ive always wanted to buy GTL but the fact that it uses starforce protection puts me off. I had trackmania that had starforce and it completely buggered up my system.

Slow down a bit and work your way up to speed in GPL. Once you get the hang of it it's very rewarding.
