GP2 Lap and hamachi are used. What is your team called. Ive put sprite f1 down for now.

hamachi, whats that, where can i d/load, how does it work?, sorry im a newbie to online gameing. actually sorry bit of an edit to the car, called Holden Racing Team (HRT), btw this is not my own car it was part of a carset i dloaded ages ago and cant remeber who made it so kudos go to the author whoever u are, i have just just made my own edits to it so give us a pm or ya email and ill send it to ya but i wont post it up on this forum cause ppl mite not like it

Ok then we have 2 teams. Hamachi is a Virtual Private Network which turns an LAN only game into an internet one basically. GP2Lap is a network mod for Grand Prix 2 that enables it to play on network so we can use it through hamachi.

Streets Alive huh? I made that track and most of the graphics while is was in College in 2000/2001, it took me ages, especially the CC line. Thanks for including it on the list!!

Wot year for the tracks going to be so and the rules and regs so i can get some pre season testing

I will post rules and regs later today we have another entry called Martino.

The tracks are going to be different years. Imola will be Early 90s layout with flat out Tambarello whereas Shanghai will obviously be current layout as its the only layout there is. Keep checking back on this topic for news. The first official test from Imola will be Saturday 14th October. I am hoping we will have all the teams sorted by then. There are 13 teams to be filled but I am hopeful.

Ok everyone I will be running final tests over the next few days and an test for all teams next weekend will happen as long as those final tests dont fail. I dont expect them to fail as so far everything is promising.

Ive already tried with a cousin and it worked. There will be a test session next Saturday at 8:00pm GMT at Imola.

Can everyone please announce engines, tyres.

The Imola test has been rescheduled it will have to be not next Saturday but the Wednesday 18th October due to the fact i cant download the necessary programs because the download limit is reached.

in the mean time, lets all see when eachother is available to personally testing this online play out.

what time zone are we playing in? it is a good idea to announce schedules that we know are globally able...

ie, is that 7PM GTM, ECT, OZ TIME?

I would be free to try out online play to see myself if it works probably any day really if I am told in advance from 6pm onwards in the next week as I will be working at home in the evenings.

Could you please write us a STEP BY STEP process on how we enable this online system to work please, I for one have no idea what software i need to install, load first, search IP addresses and whatnot...

cool yer what timezone, being in australia it could be a bit difficult to attend sessions im sure i could attend races no dramas a bit of time management would be needed to race in uk times. cause ur 7pm will be like my 5am so yer. can you please explain what we need and how to install to get gp2 runnin how we need it in steps please

haha welcome to my world bitch.

i used to race in a UK NASCAR league (well i still do i just dont bother) wherer the start is 8pm GMT tueday night which is 3am on a wednsday morning for me :P
